“From Stall to Stars”- Twisty

History

Sauce Brothers Trading Co. started the way most things do in Area 18 with nothing much to speak of. Frog and Twisty Sauce were running a vendor stall wedged between a noodle shop and a landing pad corridor, selling surplus components and the occasional smuggled Pyro spice to whoever walked by. People started calling them the Sauce Brothers as a joke. The name stuck. After years of working every angle that stall had to offer, they pooled their savings, called in every favor they were owed, and bought a beat-up Connie Taurus they named The Original Sauce. The landing gear stuck and the cargo lift sounded like it was dying, but it got them off ArcCorp and that was all that mattered.

The early trading years were lean. When the Pyro gateway opened they moved fast establishing supply lines to Checkmate and Ruin Station while other orgs were still debating whether it was worth the risk. The pirates answered that question for them. A three-ship interdiction stripped one of their haulers clean inside the first month. Rather than pulling back, the brothers started hiring guns, and when they realized every pirate hitting their lanes had a bounty on their head, the logic wrote itself. The Sauce Force one their bounty hunting wing.

Twelve years on, SBTC runs trade and logistics across Stanton and Pyro, active bounty contracts, and escort operations for independent traders who can’t afford to lose a haul. They’ve always had a soft spot for the small operators, because that’s exactly what they were for longer than they’d like to admit. The Original Sauce still flies. The brothers won’t retire it. Seems about right.
