Star Citizen Tools is an unofficial wiki dedicated to Star Citizen and Squadron 42. It covers all content relating to Star Citizen including many features in the game, the lore, and the team behind the development.
History
In August 2016 there was a need of having a high quality and active wiki dedicated to Star Citizen, quickly it was decided that the other wiki’s were not salvageable and it was best to start from scratch. After a call to arms on the Star Citizen subreddit a team was made to build and maintain this new wiki. Several projects were setup to have game information and lore more accessible to the community such as Comm-Link archival project and localization of the entire wiki and it’s contents.
Manifesto
Like Wikipedia, a wiki is a site where anybody — not just administrators or members — can edit any page. Wikis are best used for building a collaborative knowledge database, especially for the massive amount of information embedded in Star Citizen. The wiki is built and driven by volunteers who want to provide a great wiki for anyone seeking information related to Star Citizen.
Our end-goal is to become the best and most comprehensive service available for both new and experienced Citizens in Star Citizen
Charter
Contributors and members must adhere to a basic code of conduct, focusing around collaboration and respect
1. Be respectful to everyone.
2. NSFW & NSFL content is not permitted.
3. Strive to bring the most relevant and comprehensive content to the Wiki, requesting and accepting help from fellow Citizens.
4. Hate speech will not be tolerated. Using slurs or bigoted words such as the N-word or R-word are banned.
