One fateful day, a group of randoms came together on an ill-fated scrapping mission aboard the Crew’s beloved Reclaimer, Big Bertha. Ridiculous space hijinks ensued, including discovering the backspace button and almost turning everyone into a fine red mist.

Thus, the Self-Destruct Crew’s tiny group chat has expanded to a server with 30+ members and growing. With a chill vibe and Crew members down for just about any type of mission, you’ll always have someone to chat or play with.

We are a casual, social group that makes money (mostly) by accident— serious min/max-ers might find our antics frustrating (but most people would call them charming). We have a zero-tolerance policy for racism, offensive memes, and/or generally being a douche-canoe, but honorable pirates are welcome.

Self-Destruct Crew is a 21+ social org that hosts events like Happy Hour Fridays and features voice channels such as:

Big Bertha – salvage missions

Criminal Scum – drug running

Doing Violence – bunkers & ERTs

Vigilante Justice – player bounties

We also play: Helldivers 2, Sea of Thieves, ESO, Lethal Company, Jackbox party games, host watch parties, and more!

Since we’ve just recently decided to go legit and register as an org, our official pages are under construction.

Who’s asking?

Charter

- Don’t be a douche canoe. This includes in-game actions that would not appropriately represent the org. We are a casual social group and newbie-friendly. If you pick up a random to help with a mission, no dramatic betrayals. Self-Destruct Crew members always pay their debts.

- No offensive memes, political rants, or controversial subjects. If you wouldn’t (or shouldn’t) bring a subject up at your work Christmas party, please keep it out of text and voice chat. This includes illicit drug use (with the exception of marijuana) and using chat as free group therapy. We’re here to support each other, but we’re not professionals.

- This is a 21+ server. Sure, it’s the honor system. But if you’re younger than 21, it’s less likely that you will mesh socially with our group. If you’re under 18, please leave the server. Not all adults have your best interests in mind, and we can’t guarantee that this is a safe place for you to be.

- No recruiting. We don’t want to see our own org split and fractured into smaller discord groups for any reason, which is why we say discord invitations are not allowed anywhere in the server, including unsolicited invites through DMs using r/starcitizen as a mutual server.

- Vibe checks. These rules are not up for personal interpretations. Mods enforce these rules according to the spirit of these rules and arguing that a certain behavior is not explicitly mentioned in the rules may lead to a kick/ban. If we feel you’re being disruptive or a detriment to the culture of the server, we will remove you.
