A disciplined, adaptable organization focused on military strength, economic stability, covert support, and diplomatic leverage. ShadowHound operates as a unified directive with specialized internal branches.
ShadowHound Directive was born in the long shadow of humanity’s greatest failures.
For centuries, the United Empire of Earth expanded faster than it could protect itself. Frontier systems burned, borders shifted, and entire worlds were abandoned as the Vanduul pressed deeper into human space. While fleets mobilized and politicians debated, countless civilians, contractors, soldiers, and specialists were left stranded in the margins — expected to endure, adapt, or disappear.
From these margins came the Directive.
Discharged pilots whose squadrons no longer existed. Engineers who kept ships alive long after command wrote them off as losses. Traders who learned that profit meant nothing without protection. Negotiators who saw alliances collapse under fear and indecision. They did not meet under banners or ideology — they met under fire.
As UEE forces struggled to contain multi-front crises, these individuals formed informal convoys, mutual defense pacts, and ad-hoc strike groups. What began as survival hardened into doctrine. What began as necessity became intent.
Shadowhound Directive was formalized not to replace the UEE, nor to rebel against it — but to operate where official structures could not, would not, or arrived too late. It exists in the gray space between law and extinction, where morality is measured not by purity, but by outcome.
We are not heroes of history.
We are its answer.
The void does not care about intent.
It rewards preparation, cohesion, and resolve.
Shadowhound Directive believes that survival is not passive. It is earned through discipline, foresight, and the willingness to act when others hesitate. We reject chaos, but we are not bound by fragile ideals that fail under pressure.
We value:
We will negotiate when negotiation preserves lives.
We will strike when hesitation costs them.
We do not seek to rule space — we seek to endure it, shape it, and deny it to those who would burn it down.
In the darkness between stars, we do not ask for permission to survive.
Article I — Purpose
ShadowHound Directive exists to ensure the survival, strength, and autonomy of its members through coordinated combat operations, economic independence, technical mastery, and strategic diplomacy.
Article II — Structure
The Directive is composed of specialized divisions operating under a unified command doctrine. Each division maintains internal autonomy while remaining accountable to the High Directive Council.
Article III — Authority
Strategic authority rests with the High Directive Council, whose responsibility is to balance force, economy, diplomacy, and long-term viability.
Article IV — Conduct
Members are expected to act with discipline, discretion, and loyalty. While the Directive operates in morally complex environments, betrayal, reckless endangerment of allies, and internal sabotage are unforgivable offenses.
Article V — Allegiance
ShadowHound Directive recognizes alliances, accords, and temporary coalitions, but its primary loyalty remains to its members and their survival above all else.
