History
‘SHIFTERS’ – is and has always been about family and friends, sure money keeps us ticking but life is about fun, so no matter the haul or the payout, fun is the name of the game. After mustering from the Marines, and a long and celebrated career as an Armoured Cav Sergeant and later a Dropship and Sub-Orbital Pilot and Instructor, ‘The-Rocket’ as his Platoon affectionately called him; used his creds and credibility to follow his lifelong dreams… Dreams of Space, exploration, furthering the cause of rational beings and HAVING FUN… Along with a few close friends, his Daughters and his cherished felines he bought up an old Marine Cutlass and headed to the frontier for fame fortune and fun…
Manifesto
Our intentions are to enrich the universe, bring light to the dark, explore, map jump points, make first contact and delve into the dreamy dark. To that end well be trading, escorting, jumping, mapping, mining, mingling, mumbling and maste…. having FUN…
Motives : The Universe is ripe, but anything worth plucking attracts all manner of people, some, and only some; will stop at nothing to gain a foothold on the untapped wealth available out there. Our Manifesto is to tap that wealth, BUT with finesse, and fairness in mind, there’s more than enough for everyone, so help your fellow sentient lifeforms, offer assists, point them at the brightest stars and sleep easy at night knowing you shed a little more light onto a dark patch of sky. But always HAVE FUN, persecute pirates with panache and get home safe…

NO PIRACY
NO charges for acts of kindness or moral obligation – contracts before the fact are fine – but no bartering to tow ‘Sid the Spaceman’ and his rust bucket back to port.
Keep it legal – or keep it quiet – as a family unit and extended friends, we know you guys might need to let off a little steam now and then – but don’t let me or the cosmic cops find out about it – if you have to be BAD be VERY GOOD at it ;)
No In-fighting and smart talk – if you have gripes, I suggest you head to the Arena and work them out – sure a bit of banter is good for morale but streams of abuse and bad language get you sent to the naughty nebula for a long hard think.
