History

Shrouded in mysterious fog and falling Sakura petals, a beautiful island feigned sleep, silently, waiting for its turn to tremble the world. When the day came… the sky was darkened with its fighters, the ocean was reddened by its torpedoes, and mankind’s fear… mankind’s fear was defined by a new name – the Sakura Empire! — Each petal may fall from the same tree, but no two are the same, same as no two members are the same. Each person has their strengths and weaknesses, fleets specifically tailored to one area, no areas, or all of them at the same time.

Through the fog and flames there will always be at least one left standing, in amongst the wreckage of a battle there will always be one at least petal waiting for the chance to continue on.

Unofficially started in 2953 as a small group of Pilots wanting to make a claim somewhere in the system; the recent events and arise of new factions has meant we need to open the floor to more recruits. Ships are needed, as well as crew roles inside ships needing to be filled. 2954 marks the official start and doors opening to the public.

Manifesto

There is only one simple goal: Co-operate.

Some may want to carve out a section of space for operations, other may want to take on the logistics behind the scenes, mining raw resources, scrapping old derelict ships, repairing run down bases. — all are welcome to do so… But communicate. We are not here to completely dominate every square inch of space we find, But to make sure what area we do claim is fortified, self-sustaining, and friendly to those who mean no harm.

There is no use in many people doing different things opposite sides of the systems to try and get different foot holds down, communicate with each other, scout areas, gather intel, map landscapes and borders, prospecting locations. Then find the place which fits the Empire the best and work on there.

Each petal of the Empire is weak on their own, which is why we must work together.

Charter

Sometimes Rules are meant to be broken. While we shall stick to the letter of the law as much as possible, if the needs arise and the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, then I’m sure some leniency can be shown.

Though remember, you may have to be bad at times but you should never be a villain.
