Joining Sinister is deliberately straightforward and structured. Procedures are clearly defined, responsibilities are unambiguous, and progress is transparent. Q: How do I join?
A: Via Discord or TeamSpeak. An RSI application alone is not sufficient – you’re welcome to submit it in advance, and we usually accept it provisionally unless there’s a serious reason not to. However, this does not mean you are a member. You will not receive any access. We only accept the RSI application because the RSI system sends you a notification email. If you then don’t show up on TeamSpeak or Discord, we remove you again.

Q: What should I expect after joining?
A: Our onboarding, consisting of 3 mandatory sessions for all trainees. In these, you’ll be introduced to the “how Sinister does it” structures across our different areas. Our instructors may shorten the onboarding if you already have extensive knowledge.

Q: Do I need experience to join?
A: To join, no. To advance, yes. What matters at intake is your character. After joining, trainees have enough time to solidify the fundamentals we require. What matters most is your willingness to improve – at your pace. Experienced veterans may advance faster.

Q: You come across as elitist and militaristic. Doesn’t that kill the fun?
A: Fun is forbidden, it’s in the rules.

Q: Can I “try you out” first?
A: No, we don’t invest in uncertain assets.

Q: Are there ways to cooperate without joining?
A: Yes, everything is described in our Alliance Manifest

Q: You have many affiliates — does that mean I can join multiple organizations while in Sinister?
A: Generally, no. However, there are options that allow membership in additional organizations. These are regulated in detail in our Alliance Manifest
If we notice you joining or actively participating in another organization outside the Alliance system, we revoke all rights.

Q: Okay. Activity. No propaganda numbers. What can I realistically expect?
A: In addition to daily spontaneous group play, we usually run multiple weekly events such as trainings and operations with fluctuating participation numbers (depending on type, roughly 5-30 people), as well as “Major Operations” with 50+ participants at regular intervals. That makes us one of the most active organizations in Star Citizen.

Q: With so many members, am I just a number?
A: To put it bluntly: whether you’re “just a number” is primarily up to you. Even in our organization there are names everyone knows. Those “honors,” if you want to call them that, actually mean something here. In an organization with five active members, you’ll become “the best” at something comparatively quickly – whether that’s worth being proud of is up to you. And keep in mind: there’s more than just gameplay. Are you a particularly easygoing socializer? Exceptionally helpful? Does your humor fit the group? If you’re a good person to be around, you won’t stay “a number” – no matter how large the organization is. And now apply already, 38557!

Even though we internally have an extended list of rules, only Sinister Incorporated and Sinister International employees or members of the Sinister Alliances can invoke them.
For the general public, only the following rules apply:

• 1. If concluded by an authorized member of Sinister, contracts and agreements will be strictly adhered to. Authorized members are:
  CEO: HeIIsing
  General proxy holder: Kab3vo & Redilian
  Power of authority – Applications & Recruiting: Corinius
  Applications & Recruiting: Antiprotoni, Shrekt13, TschitschU
  Diplomacy: Vitnijr

• 2. In addition to rule 1 are time limited and immediate offers in a small framework. If you are the target in the transfer of property conducted by our qualified personnel, and you will be offered an assured survival if you comply, you can file a complaint if our members will not adhere to the agreement.

• 3. Contracts and agreements concluded by non-authorized members of Sinister Incorporated which don’t adhere to rule 2, will be viewed as null and void by Sinister Incorporated.

• 4. Cheating and exploiting is prohibited for our members. If you encounter individuals who don’t adhere to that rule, you are encouraged to file a complaint with us. However, this will not grant you any insight in how we manage this process internally.

Auch wenn intern weitere Richtlinien existieren, können sich nur Mitglieder von Sinister Incorporated, Sinister International oder der Sinister Alliance auf diese berufen.
Extern gelten folgende Regeln:

• 1. Verträge und Absprachen werden immer eingehalten, wenn sie von einem Bevollmächtigten oder dem CEO geschlossen wurden.

Sind Sie beispielsweise Ziel einer unfreiwilligen Eigentumsübertragung durch Fachkräfte der Sinister Incorporated und Ihnen wird Ihr sicheres Überleben bei Kooperation in Aussicht gestellt, so können Sie bei Nichteinhaltung Beschwerde einreichen.

• 3. Absprachen und Vereinbarungen, welche nicht unter Regel 1 & 2 fallen, können nicht bei der Führung der Sinister Inc. geltend gemacht werden. Sie können es versuchen, wir werden es ignorieren.

• 4. Cheats und Exploits sind verboten. Auch Externe können hier bei unserer Führung Beschwerde einreichen. Dies gibt jedoch keinen Anspruch auf Einsicht, in welcher Art und Weise die Situation intern geklärt wird.
