SKYFORCE ROLES

The following roles may be available for you to enjoy.

Sky Lord

As fleet executive director and elder statesman, the Sky Lords set the fleet’s direction, establish its principles, guide its strategy, appoints officers to implement functions, and maintains its high level activities. Individually each oversees fleet activity in its entirety, together serving as our judiciary when required. Sky Lords serve until they retire or are replaced by the Fleet Administrator for inactivity.

Admiral

Admirals are fleet function area leaders, whom each volunteer to organize and/or lead major weekly events for a major part of our operation. Admirals are appointed to or removed from these roles by either act of the Sky Lord or unanimous vote of our Space Marshals. Operational events for which Admirals may be assigned are as follows:

- Admiral, Fleet Operations [Recruiting, Diplomacy, and Intelligence]
- Admiral, Strategic Operations [Capital Ship Provisioning, Manning, and Deployment]
- Admiral, Combat Operations [Attack, Defense, And Interdiction Events]
- Admiral, Exploration Operations [Pathfinding, Reconnaissance, And Bounty Events]
- Admiral, Industrial Operations [Mining, Salvage, Agriculture, Fueling, and Hauling Events]
- Admiral, Support Operations [Medical, Repair, and Search/Rescue Events]

Commodore

Commodores are Skyforce’s wing commanders. Those who volunteer for this rank identify themselves as grouping organizers, creating regular opportunities for others to team. Commodores name their wing and pick group members daily based on who is available online. There are no standing unit assignments. Captains may call upon Commodores to form wings for adventure.

Captain

Captains are the essential members of our fleet, each exploring strange new worlds, seeking out new life and civilization, and boldly going where none have gone before, as they wish. Captains may assist with any fleet activity on an ad hoc basis, but this designation carries no expectation for fleet support otherwise. Captains are recognized in three grades: 1) Captains Junior Grade are recent recruits the fleet who begin as Captain, 2) Captains Standard Grade who are regular members of the fleet, and 3) Captains Senior Grade recognized for longstanding fleet participation.
