History
SKY-TEK gets its origins from a milsim community. a few friends that have been supporting and enjoying Star Citizen since 2016 began the org with the idea of team work squad tactics and a focus on fun.
Over the years more gameplay has become available and we enjoy all aspects of the game now and into the future.
SKY-TEK has always been about Security, Search and Rescue operations and continues to build on an extensive knowledge base of SOP’s and Intricate Tactics passed down from experienced pilots that has helped chisel confidence, coordination and strategy within the ranks. SKY-TEK is unparalleled in its field.

SKY-TEK core members come from a milsim background and enjoy teamwork, tactics and above all fun.
Our focus is deployment on contract as a specialist security provider to meet any citizen’s security needs or concerns.
Concise organized preparation with the customer and strategic planning prior to operations ensure the advantage for any job, no matter how large or small, no matter how dangerous or remote, we will deliver you and your assets safely.

The universe can be an unforgiving place with Vanduul, pirates and opportunistic troublemakers all wanting to get their piece of the action. Some treks may take you through dangerous territory, uncharted Jump Points and far reaches of the verse away from the relative safety of UEE space.

SKY-TEK Members will operate with courtesy, integrity and support for our valued customer and one another.

Core tenets
SKY-TEK is a lawful organization and has a zero-tolerance policy towards members engaged in griefing, or unprovoked attacks which break standing rules of engagement. Evidence of this behavior will be grounds for immediate, permanent expulsion.
For the purposes of this document, piracy is defined as unlawfully depriving a person or entity of their material goods.
Mission Focus & Sub-Operations
SKY-TEK is intended to provide an umbrella structure covering different play styles and goals, while maintaining a legal approach to most operations. This means that government-sanctioned bounties against “public enemies” and pirates are both legitimate, whereas piracy is not.
SKY-TEK’s primary focus will be “Sec-Ops” (Security Operations), but acknowledges that a broad income base is required for stability and growth. These verticals are intended to work together towards the common goal of lawful profit, and will include sub-operations focused on areas such as:

- Fuel extraction
- Exploration & Cartography
- Mining & Refineries
- Industry & Manufacturing
- Salvage
- Trade & cargo haulage

Our members will be encouraged to partake in the professions that interest them within our scope to strengthen and contribute to the self sufficiency of SKY-TEK.
Org Structure / Membership Tiers
We have simple 3-Tier Membership structure.
Other than this we operate via roles rather than ranks.
More information on the perks and member services available will be provided when you successfully join.
All members must provide a full API key for vetting. This is non-negotiable.
Age Limit
All Members must be over 18 years of age and have a Mature attitude as we are mostly of older ages.
Our focus is on a fun, immersive experience and we enjoy our time gaming.
