“Heroes for Hire”

The premier choice for private security, fugitive recovery and other paramilitary services both in and out of UEE jurisdiction.

History

Slade Wing is a small but tight-knit team of mercenaries and bounty hunters founded in 2946. We have yet to prove ourselves on a grand scale, but we maintain good relations with authorities and a solid record for efficiency and reliability despite our relatively small size and young age as an organization.

Slade Wing will participate in Operation Pitchfork.

Our Partners & Allies

Manifesto

Although our recruitment is closed to the general public, we’re always looking for other organizations to partner/affiliate with. Contact TheAllegedGirl if you own an organization and think we’ll like your style.

Here at Slade Wing, we primarily work in the areas of private security and fugitive recovery, but also offer services in various other fields including but not limited to asset recovery, search & rescue, and private investigation.

We pride ourselves in maintaining a good relationship with the UEE and local authorities. We almost exclusively take jobs that are on the right side of the law, or at the very least are in a lighter grey area. Please don’t come to us with your assassination or smuggling jobs. We aren’t interested. Don’t get us wrong, at the end of the day we’re mercenaries, but the morals are just as important as the paycheck, if not more.

Charter

Please note that Slade Wing’s recruitment is not open to the general public and there are currently no plans for it to be. This section is for members to be reminded of our rules and systems, or for non-members who are just curious as to how we operate.

First thing to know is that all members of Slade Wing are more or less equal in interpersonal standing. We’re a small crew composed of good friends and confidants, not some sort of big, personally detached army. That said, we do have a limited chain of command to keep things focused, a set of tactical roles for our members, as well as a few rules and guidelines.

Chain of Command

As stated above, Slade Wing features a small chain of command consisting of two people; Mrs. Kanda Slade, who is the team’s current acting Leader, arbitrating issues within the team, acting as an adviser to the other members, and issuing punishments to members who break the rules. Her husband, Mr. Ethan Slade, is the team’s current Second-in-Command, acting as a lieutenant for the leader when the leader is available, and as a substitute leader when the real leader is not.

Tactical Roles

Slade Wing has a few different assigned roles to indicate the specialties of our members. These aren’t absolute, and merely represent how our members are most comfortable operating in the field. Aces may occasionally have to leave the pilot seat and take the fight to the ground, or Supercommandos may find themselves in a cockpit from time to time. It all depends on what’s needed and who’s available at a moment’s notice.

Ace

Aces are Slade Wing’s trained designated pilots, most comfortable in the cockpit of a fighter, dropship, or even larger craft, depending on what’s called for.

Supercommando

Supercommandos are Slade Wing’s boots on the ground, shock troopers clad in armor with a rifle in their hands, taking the fight to our enemies more personally.

Specialist

Specialists are Slade Wing’s engineers, hackers, and medics, taking a more supportive role.

Rules & Guidelines
