Today, that legacy continues through the pilots, explorers, miners, salvagers, haulers, and security personnel who make up our deployed workforce.

We have deep corporate lore, but we’re not a corporate simulator.

The Operator’s Code | Version 1.0

PREAMBLE

Solar Forge Industries is more than a name, a fleet, or a fictional corporation. It is a community of individuals brought together by a shared passion for Star Citizen, exploration, cooperation, and the experiences we create along the way.

Our members come from different backgrounds, generations, cultures, and walks of life. We may hold different opinions, pursue different interests, and approach the game in different ways.

Those differences are welcome.

What unites us is our commitment to mutual respect, camaraderie, personal freedom, and the enjoyment of the game.

This charter establishes the standards by which we protect that commitment.

Different backgrounds. Different beliefs. Different adventures. One crew.

ARTICLE I | RESPECT AMONG OPERATORS

Every member of Solar Forge Industries deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

We expect all operators to:

- Treat fellow members and guests with courtesy.
- Respect differences in personality, experience, background, and beliefs.
- Resolve disagreements without personal attacks, harassment, intimidation, or discrimination.
- Avoid bullying, deliberate provocation, and repeated disruptive behavior.
- Respect personal boundaries and the right of others to disengage from unwanted conversations.

Disagreement is natural. Disrespect is a choice.

We do not require operators to agree with one another. We require them to respect one another.

ARTICLE II | A GAMING-FIRST COMMUNITY

Solar Forge Industries exists primarily to enjoy Star Citizen and the friendships formed through gaming.

To preserve that environment, official organization channels are not intended for political campaigning, religious debates, ideological confrontations, or prolonged arguments over contentious real-world events.

Members are free to hold and express their personal beliefs outside official organization spaces.

Casual discussion about everyday life, personal experiences, cultures, and interests is welcome, provided it remains respectful and does not become disruptive.

No operator should feel pressured to defend their personal beliefs or participate in discussions they would rather avoid.

We gather around what brings us together, not what divides us.

ARTICLE III | FREEDOM OF THE OPERATOR

Solar Forge Industries operates under Solar Doctrine 2.0, emphasizing versatility, independence, and cooperation.

Every operator has the freedom to:

- Pursue personal gameplay interests and professions.
- Form independent crews and organize activities.
- Participate in or decline scheduled operations.
- Explore different SOLAR disciplines without permanent assignment.
- Maintain a healthy balance between gaming and real-world responsibilities.

Participation in organized activities is voluntary unless an operator has explicitly accepted a specific responsibility for that activity.

No member is expected to sacrifice personal obligations, relationships, or well-being for the organization.

Real life comes first. The game should remain enjoyable.

ARTICLE IV | LEADERSHIP THROUGH SERVICE

Solar Forge’s operational structure consists of the Chief Operator, Lead Operators, and Operators.

Leadership positions represent additional responsibilities, not personal superiority.

Chief and Lead Operators are expected to:

- Lead by example and uphold this charter.
- Coordinate operations without unnecessarily restricting independent gameplay.
- Support newcomers and experienced members alike.
- Address concerns fairly, privately when appropriate, and without favoritism.
- Accept constructive criticism and remain accountable for their decisions.

Members may respectfully question leadership decisions, raise concerns, and offer suggestions without fear of retaliation.

During coordinated operations, designated crew leaders may establish temporary operational instructions for safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

These responsibilities do not grant unrestricted authority over members outside those activities.

Leadership is a responsibility to the crew, not a privilege above it.

ARTICLE V | CAMARADERIE AND INCLUSION

Solar Forge encourages friendships, independent crews, and groups of members who enjoy playing together.

However, personal friendships must not become instruments of exclusion, harassment, or division.

We discourage:

- Deliberate efforts to isolate or ostracize members.
- Coordinated hostility toward individuals or leadership.
- Rumor-spreading, personal vendettas, and persistent interpersonal drama.
- Using organizational roles or friendships to obtain preferential treatment.

Not every operator must participate in every activity or be friends with every member.

We simply expect everyone to contribute to an atmosphere where others feel welcome.

A strong crew makes room for different personalities without demanding that everyone be the same.

ARTICLE VI | CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Disagreements should be addressed promptly, respectfully, and proportionately.

Whenever appropriate, minor misunderstandings should be resolved directly between the individuals involved.

When direct resolution is unsuccessful, inappropriate, or uncomfortable, members may seek assistance from a Lead Operator or the Chief Operator.

Leadership will evaluate concerns fairly, considering context, severity, and previous conduct.

Disciplinary measures may include:

1. Informal Reminder: Clarification of expectations for minor or first-time issues.
2. Formal Warning: Direct notice that behavior must change, with consequences explained.
3. Temporary Restriction: Limited access to organization activities or communication channels when necessary.
4. Removal: Termination of membership when serious or repeated misconduct threatens the community.

Serious misconduct, including credible threats, severe harassment, or other significant safety violations, may warrant immediate removal without progressive warnings.

Repeated violations will not result in unlimited warnings.

Moderation decisions should be documented privately, and members may request a review by leadership not directly involved in the original decision when reasonably available.

Every operator deserves fairness. No operator is entitled to repeatedly disrupt the community.

ARTICLE VII | RESPONSIBILITY TO THE COMMUNITY

Every member contributes to Solar Forge’s reputation and atmosphere.

Operators are encouraged to:

- Welcome and assist new citizens.
- Share knowledge and support fellow crew members.
- Honor voluntarily accepted commitments or communicate when plans change.
- Represent Solar Forge respectfully when interacting with other organizations and players.
- Respect the time, effort, and contributions of others.

No operator is expected to be perfect, exceptionally skilled, or constantly available.

We value effort, integrity, and cooperation above statistics, wealth, equipment, or rank.

Our greatest asset is not our fleet. It is the people who fly it.

Solar Forge Industries will strive to remain a community where operators can pursue their adventures freely, participate without unnecessary pressure, and enjoy the company of people who share their enthusiasm for the universe.

We recognize that disagreements will occur, mistakes will be made, and personalities will sometimes clash.

What matters is how we respond.

We choose respect over hostility, accountability over favoritism, cooperation over division, and camaraderie over personal ambition.

No individual, regardless of position, seniority, or contribution, stands above these principles.

THE OPERATOR’S PLEDGE

I join Solar Forge Industries as an equal member of a shared community.

I will respect my fellow operators, honor their freedom, and contribute to an environment where others can enjoy the game.

I will accept responsibility for my actions, approach disagreements with maturity, and remember that leadership exists to serve the crew.
