“Trade in vegetables is good, but trade in chivalrous deeds results in bigger wealth. Try a prune!”

—Essosouli Tissúlo

History

The Happy Stomach Human Food Souli and Knights-Errant, organized under essosouli Tissúlo, emerged from the Flexible Humans Vegetable Souli after the latter’s essosouli died in a train explosion. Although nominally a greengrocery, Tissúlo’s obsession with “donge ote”, a human legend, colors most of the guild’s activities.

The bulk of Happy Stomach’s agents have been “rescued” by the souli, and are indentured to—according to Tissúlo—“the universe” until they repay their debts by undertaking chivalrous quests. Most Banu regard Tissúlo’s preoccupation with knighthood as a mental health issue, which has affected the souli’s credibility, and its standing among other fruit and vegetable vendors.

Manifesto

WHAT DID I JUST STEP IN?

The Happy Stomach Human Food Souli & Knights Errant tells the story of an unprosperous Banu fruit and vegetable souli (i.e. guild) whose long-suffering agents weather the quixotic fixations of their essosouli (i.e. guildmaster), Tissúlo.

Characters in the org are indentured to the souli, meaning not all are involved willingly or for their own benefit. Org members (i.e. players) cooperate to portray the souli as an entity within the Star Citizen universe by having their characters perform the guild’s mercantile functions and “quest” as directed by Tissúlo’s fathomless idealism. Some org characters may choose to resist Tissúlo’s directives according to their moral compasses, but Tissúlo’s determination and head for business (almost) always carry the day.

All roleplay is outward facing, meaning that org members use their characters to portray the souli to the Star Citizen community. Org members develop narrative campaigns for the org to enact, that the public may spectate or participate in. Intra-org roleplay is disadvised in favor of directing the same energy into depicting the souli and its cast of characters in art, short stories, comics, and machinima.

The org’s business is transacted in human languages (primarily English), but our publications portray the souli’s use of the Banu language.

Neither good nor evil can last forever; and so it follows that as evil has lasted a long time, good must now be close at hand.
