The history of Spearhead begins with its Founder & Chief Officer, Eko. Having been born on Hurston, he grew up in poverty. In his youth, he was orphaned in an attack by the Hurston Guards, his parents being caught in a crossfire. He became a street urchin that resorted to thievery to survive, living om various different compartments and air-ducts throughout the city. Having lived and explored the entirety of Hurston, he became uniquely in-tune with the illegal underworld. As a teenager, he fell in with a group of pirates. Having made friends with one of the older members, he began tagging along to the spaceport, where he was first introduced to his first spaceship. He began learning how to maintain and operate them through repeated trips to the spaceport, learning from various different engineers and pilots.

Eventually, he was used by the pirate group in a scheme to infiltrate the Hurston Guards. He joined as a recruit and went through intense physical training. He graduated at the top of his class and was slated to be fast-tracked to being an overseeing officer, however, he had been using his credentials as a guard to track shipments and deliveries that the pirate group would use to loot the ships. The plot was discovered and in a western-style shoot-out, Eko and the pirate gang fled the planet. It was shortly after they had fled that Eko had discovered the pirates had been killing the people they stole from instead of just robbing them. In a brutal event, Eko executed each member of the clan and nearly executed himself but he resolved to create ‘Spearhead’. An organization meant to take the fight back to the pirates and the bullies of the galaxy.
