Don’t take this seriously <3

History

Early in in Earth’s pre-space traversing days, there were a small group of individuals who band together during some small clusters of war during many of the revolutions in Earth’s times. The first being a time when the governing members of Earth’s higher members were considering and in secret, even commencing minor slavery infractions. Two brothers: Jack and John Weller took it upon themselves to build up a small militia in effort to make free the slaves under bondage.

It was during this time that one of the brothers, John Weller, was killed in an explosion… Or at least presumed dead. After a few weeks, his “Ghost” returned under the nick name “Phoenix”, representing his rising again from the ashes of his demise. After this, he formed a sub group of specialized mercenaries where in this exclusive tier, each was given equipment and augmentation. This was during a time when external and mild internal augmentation was both legal and necessary. These individuals were called “Specters” at the time, but the name was not adopted by the faction as a whole until later.

After a few years of effort, the Specter Initiative was born under the name “Specter Protocol”, this became so due to their ability to learn the establishments mechanics and disable the lights, giving them the advantage against those who ran the compound. There after freeing the enslaved individuals and leaving long before the lights ever returned.

As they grew into retirement, the Specter Initiative continued under it’s new name as the descendants of Jack Weller lead the organisation on from there. From then on the organization has yet to discontinue as the family militia now continues on. As tradition, the leading line in the Specter Initiative is renamed to take their predecessors place under the title/call-sign: “Jack”.

Manifesto

While we are a Freelance and Weapons manufacturer, we have strict morals to which we abide due to our respectable past.

  • Freedom: The concept in and of itself is that of he up-most importance to our cause. We are the pioneers of our time and the helmsmen of our destiny. We protect the concept and it’s meaning, we bring it to those with none and desire it, we cause chaos in the organizations which attempt to take it from others.
  • Liberty: Not to be taken lightly, this concept is designed to go hand in hand with law. Though our actions do not always submit to the law of the Federation of the Earth alliance, we are not lawless fools and our actions are not without careful calculation and consideration.
  • Defense: A war cannot always be won forever. So long as humans live and selfishness exists on any level, our existence is required to help fight for those in less of a position to speak for themselves.

Charter

Note: RP Is semi-serious/loose. We do have a form of in character, which is basically when we infiltrate enemy compounds, mingle with persons of interest, or are simply using our call-signs, or speaking of missions both past, present, and future. Basically, for example, I issue someone a mission. I’m not going to just say “Here’s this thing, go do something.” I’ll give detailed instructions and objectives as well as items to remember during the mission. Or if you’re sent to a public area to listen in on someone, or keep tabs on what they are doing, you would pretend you are there doing other things to avoid detection. It’s not the RP where you become your character, or where you have to notify when you go in character or go out of character, it’s just the kind of RP that keeps things mildly interesting for missions and ops.

Nobility: We are not marauders or pirates. We are gentleman and women of a better future. Our focus and goal is that of freedom and liberty and high held values for human life.

Humility: We cannot expect ourselves to be leaders in a newer or better world. Ours is to make sure this one doesn’t get any worse. We are all but instruments of a better tomorrow, not heroes or leaders to expect admiration or respect from others.

Dedication: Where is any good idea without the commitment of a good and willing person to take initiative and make it so? It is nothing but a fading idea. Make your efforts and focus for our cause when and where you can.

*Ranking Design: The chain of command is in place for a reason, to ensure that our organization remains a solid, well oiled machine. Please respect your commanding officers and team leaders.

Actual Ranking Desicn under re-development

Cadet – Welcome to the Corps. You’re new, so don’t expect ANY special attention because until you WORK your way up the line, you’re going to be just a grunt for a while. I only state this in a harsh manner because I have had a really irritating experience with people who joined an old gaming community I was a part of and immediately thought they were somehow entitled to certain things as recruits like speaking directly with the head of the organization, trying to create mini squads of their own without permission, issuing orders to other cadets and even going as far as actually ignoring the higher up ranks to run the squads they were in ‘their way’. Which I emphasis, Always lead to them all being killed in the various games this happened.

  • Team effort design. You are to respect our chain of command. Having an issue with a superior means you bring it up with a higher up officer, not allow it to affect your judgement or ability to work.
  • Knowing your station. It is highly encouraged that you know your station and it’s uses/aspects. We need teams who can provide quick response times, especially in battle situations.
  • Real Life. This comes first and foremost. No one may be found in anger due to another member being unavailable due to prior real life commitments.
  • I don’t care how old you are, I care how mature you are. If you’re 15 with the maturity level of a 24 year old and can handle yourself in this Organization, then you are welcome. But if you can’t handle the Role Play, don’t stop talking or squealing over the comms, can’t hold your fire or follow orders; you are subject to being dishonorably discharged.
