The Spittin Kittens is now recruiting.

History

The Spittin’ Kittens was founded by a small group of players that were often described as “Pay to Win’. They saw a chance in Star Citizen to take the budget they spent in online gaming and use it to create a squadron capable of the kind of play they enjoyed, but filled with players better than themselves. They pooled assets, observed gaming communities, followed game markets, and came up with a plan you might be interested in.

Manifesto

Our vision is of a group that never has to grind, never has to do tasks for a npc, that can afford to operate in ways that are economically impossible, and a group that is truly free. We are going to achieve this by taking real world money and funding a small group of players, essentially paying them to play. We want to build a culture that values team work, self improvement, and takes pride in that it is a group that refuses to sow.

We want to attract players who take pride in earning a place, and who skilled tacticians. We want to build a community that finds identity and excitement while serving others . We plan to provide a stipend to fighter pilots worth around 48 hours of grinding a month. We may also provide smaller stipends for people in other vital roles, like logistics or capital ship crew.

Finally, we are looking for other pledgers who would help us grow our funds and expand the amount of players we can support.

4. Current base of founders monthly pledge puts number of semi-permanent positions around 20 players (as of March 15, 2014).

Rules of Operation

1. Cheating and exploitation, whether through the use of third party programs or bugs found within the game, are highly unacceptable.

2. Racism and discrimination against any group will not be tolerated.

3. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

4. Membership in the Spittin’ Kittens is exclusive, with the exception of only officially associated groups.
