SRMC is an association of freelancing search, rescue & medical crew utilizing a social platform to coordinate, dispatch, recruit, report & screen for those hostile to dedicated emergency crew. We provide a network to empower our affiliates & help them establish a trust within the community.

History

The sudden rise of exploration and colonisation in the early 25th century came with an ever increasing demand for emergency operations and the rescue and medical industry experienced exponential growth as a result. Many competing organisations fought to secure contracts and compete for distress beacons, often to the detriment of the inflicted. Soon the negative reputation and threat of legislative recourse forced the various groups to form a representative body with the soul mission to fairly assist and coordinate its members to the benefit of all. The result was far more successful than anticipated.

As it turned out, collaboration rather than competition was the most profitable strategy in an ever expanding galaxy. Resources and personal naturally found their optimum positions within the free market through coordination and information sharing. Throughout the following centuries the collective was called upon as war and disaster followed in the wake of the expanse. The presence of SRMC affiliates soon became synonymous with occupied space, providing a sense of comfort and security.

Manifesto

SRMC will continue it’s pledge to aid and fairly moderate its various members whether they are an individual patrolling the boarders of known space or a large corporation competing in heavily occupied territories. Our commitment to the safety and continued employment of the rescue and medical community will remain our number one priority.

As a distributor of contracts, we support open bidding as it has proven itself to be the most transparent method. Our moderation and advice remains available to all members facing conflict, both within and outside of the collective.

Charter

Members are free to associate with any organisation or activity without recourse but will be expected to abide by a basic code of ethics when representing themselves as SRMC members in a search, rescue and medical capacity.

  • Upon the arrival of a distress location you are to announce yourself and your intentions.
  • You can only engage in combat for the purpose of self defence.
  • Contracts are to be honoured and you may not abandon them for more lucrative offers.
  • When communicating with other members on our platform you are expected to remain civil.
  • If grievous internal conflict arises seek mediation from senior members.
