STANTECH is a space trading, mining and salvaging organization that is based in Stanton star system. Founded by freighter pilot and later entrepreneur Nathan Brazil in the year 2945 on November 3rd, merely a week before the attack on Vega II, that marked the beginning of the Vanduul War. Even in the midst of unravelling war STANTECH under Brazil’s leadership, has grown from a modest operation specializing in salvaging and cleaning up debris in the Aaron belts to a major player in the space trading industry. Nathan Brazil had a vision of creating a trading organization that would be able to traverse the stars and find the best deals on resources that could be used throughout the Verse. With the help of his crew, and Nathans natural acuity STANTECH was able to quickly expand its operations and soon became one of the largest trading companies in the entire star system.
