History

The Starflight Academy began as a modest effort by Numpy1111—a pilot who had seen countless fledgling Citizens stranded in the verse. Numpy, a steadfast believer that no one should face the vast unknown without guidance, started with small, impromptu meetups in Stanton’s quieter corners. Teaching quantum travel, ship repair, and even the finer points of EVA navigation, these sessions grew from casual lessons into something greater: a community.
As word spread, so did the Academy’s reach. From Port Olisar to the orbit of MicroTech, Starflight became synonymous with camaraderie and competence. Today, the Academy operates as a fully-fledged organization, its members united by a single goal: to ensure every Citizen finds their wings—and learns to fly higher.

Responsibilities:
To New Members: Provide mentorship, guidance, and a safe learning environment.
To the Verse: Offer assistance where needed without expectation of reward.
To Ourselves: Uphold our reputation as beacons of support and skill, always striving for self-improvement.
Guidelines for Members:
Aid should be given freely when possible, without interfering with others’ gameplay.
Maintain professionalism in all interactions, even under duress.
Participation in combat must align with the Academy’s principles—defensive or consensual PvP is permitted; griefing is not.
Governance:
The Academy is led by experienced Citizens who embody its values. All voices are heard, and decisions reflect the collective wisdom of its members.
