A small group of dedicated bounty hunter. Committed to ridding the verse of the worst criminals out there. We are the monsters under your bed. We are the ones who knock in the night.
Founding and Early Days (2952-2953)
The Star Hunters were founded in 2952 by Vastolorde and Kardde, two brothers who recognized an opportunity in the chaos of the Stanton system. Growing up Crusader, they saw how pirates and outlaws disrupted trade and drove up costs for everyone. For the two brothers, every hijacking and extortion racket meant money being left on the table, and they knew there was a better way to cash in on the situation.
Pooling their resources, they started out small, taking on minor bounties with their trusty Aegis Avengers. They weren’t out to clean up Stanton; they just wanted to turn a profit by taking out the competition—the pirates and smugglers who were bad for business. The name “Star Hunters” wasn’t chosen for show; it was a promise that they’d track down any target, anywhere, as long as the price was right.
Building a Reputation (2953-2954)
In just a year, the Star Hunters had built a reputation for getting results. They didn’t shy away from dangerous jobs; they picked the contracts with the highest payouts and got them done, fast. Their no-frills approach attracted other skilled operatives—people who were tired of the drama and just wanted to make some serious credits.
By early 2953, the Star Hunters had grown from a two-man operation to a small, efficient team. Now operating out of Stanton and Pyro, they invested in versatile ships like the Cutlass Blue and Avenger Stalker, allowing them to take on more complex missions. Their motto was simple: “Get paid. Get out. Get more.” This approach brought in bigger clients who needed jobs done discreetly and efficiently, and the Star Hunters quickly gained a reputation as the go-to group for handling high-risk, high-reward contracts.
Modern Day
The Star Hunters operate out of a mobile base their trusty RSI Polaris, never staying in one place too long, keeping their assets lean and ready to move. They aren’t interested in cleaning up the galaxy—they’re interested in making credits. If you’ve got the funds, they’ve got the skills, and they’ll get the job done, no questions asked.
Motto: “Credits talk. We listen.”
“Out there, it’s a business. Contracts, credits, and cold hard cash. We hunt because it pays, and we’re damn good at it. We don’t waste time on lofty ideals or speeches about justice. Pirates, smugglers, and outlaws disrupt trade, and that means money’s being lost. We step in, handle the problem, and get paid for our trouble.
We go where others won’t, because we’ve got the skills, the gear, and the guts to do it. Every target is just another job, another payday. We’re not out to save the universe; we’re here to make sure our clients get what they paid for. If that means cleaning up a few scum along the way, so be it.
No drama, no questions—just results. When the contract’s signed, consider the problem solved.
We are the Star Hunters. And we’re in this for the credits.”
“Credits talk. We listen.”
The Star Hunters are a professional bounty hunting group. Our goal is simple: take down high-value targets and get paid. We don’t overcomplicate things—we handle contracts efficiently, effectively, and without unnecessary risks.
Code of Conduct:
Efficiency: Every mission should be executed swiftly and cleanly. We’re here to get results, not to waste time.
Professionalism: We maintain a high standard of conduct. We don’t pick fights we can’t finish, and we don’t draw unnecessary attention.
Discretion: Keep your mouth shut and your head down. We do the job, collect the credits, and move on. No loose ends.
Respect for Contracts: Once we take on a contract, we see it through. We don’t quit halfway, and we don’t renegotiate terms.
Operational Guidelines:
Prioritize jobs that offer the best pay-to-risk ratio. We’re not heroes; we’re here for profit.
Maintain a diverse fleet and skilled crew to ensure we can take on a wide range of contracts—from solo bounties to larger, more complex operations.
No unnecessary collateral damage. Clean jobs mean repeat business.
Collaborate with clients, law enforcement, and other groups when necessary to get the job done.
Membership:
New members need to prove they’re capable, and can keep their cool under pressure. We only accept those that work as a team.
Members need to be able to communicate effectively and mesh with the rest of the org.
“Get paid. Get out. Get more.”
