History
The History of STEEL
Born from necessity and forged in ambition, the Salvage & Tactical Expedition Enforcement Legion – STEEL – emerged in the wake of the first major reclamation rushes in the Stanton system. What began as a small band of independent salvagers and industrial operators quickly evolved into a disciplined organization capable of both industrial mastery and tactical enforcement.
Founding Era
In the early years, the founders recognized a gap in the ‘verse: resources were abundant, but protection was scarce. Miners, haulers, and salvagers often fell victim to pirates, corporate disputes, and the unpredictability of deep space operations. To survive and thrive, they combined their industrial expertise with tactical savvy, forming a group capable of securing contracts, reclaiming lost assets, and safeguarding trade routes.
Growth and Expansion
From a few vultures and handful of fighters, STEEL expanded into a full military-industrial force. Gunships, Stealth fighters, and Capital class vessels joined the fleet, allowing the organization to operate anywhere, from contested salvage fields to high-risk escort missions. Partnerships with other organizations and independent contractors solidified STEEL’s reputation as both a reliable industrial ally and a formidable security provider.

Charter
We, the members of the Salvage & Tactical Expedition Enforcement Legion (STEEL), do hereby establish this charter to define our purpose, principles, and operations within the ‘verse. STEEL exists to unite pilots, crew, and vessels under a banner of industry, security, and professionalism, forging a legacy in the vast frontier of space.
Article I – Name and Identity
The official name of the organization shall be Salvage & Tactical Expedition Enforcement Legion, abbreviated as STEEL.

Role-play is optional. Casual and flexible participation is supported. Dedication to purpose, excellence, and the organization’s core values is mandatory.

STEEL maintains a versatile fleet to execute its mission:
Primary Vessels: Reclaimer and Perseus with a Merchantman and Ironclad assault both being constructed for future operations
Combat Assets: Multiple gunships, stealth fighters, heavy fighters, and prowler utility
Operations include:
Salvage and resource reclamation
Mining and crafting
Cargo hauling and industrial logistics
Tactical security and escort missions
