THE FALL — From Heroes to Ghosts
Shadowfall Tactical Group began as the Alpha Recon Strike Division (ARSD), an elite black‑ops unit of the Galactic Hegemony. They were the ghosts sent in when diplomacy failed — specialists in silent boarding, deep‑space infiltration, and high‑value asset retrieval.
During the Siege of the Glaciem Ring, political upheaval inside the Hegemony led to betrayal. ARSD’s existence was scrubbed from the data‑nets. Extraction lines were cut. The unit was abandoned in uncharted dark sectors and written off as dead.
But they didn’t die.
The survivors realized their loyalty had been a lie. They renamed themselves Shadowfall, marking the day they fell from grace and entered the dark. They rewired their ships with low‑emission thermal dampeners, stripped their armor of passive signatures, and turned their elite training toward the only path left:
high‑tech, systematic piracy.
THE SHADOW COVENANT
Shadowfall’s loyalty is absolute — forged in betrayal, tempered in survival.
Our internal code is simple:
“The galaxy turned its back on us.
We turn our backs on the galaxy.
We live in the black, we strike in the dark,
and we share the plunder equally.
If one is left behind, the fleet returns to burn the system.”
This covenant binds them tighter than any government ever could. They do not fight for flags, politics, or corporate greed — only for each other.
To the galaxy, they are a myth.
To those who cross them, they are the last thing seen before the lights go out.

THE PROFESSIONAL CAMOUFLAGE
Shadowfall does not operate like common raiders. Their discipline is military‑precise, wrapped in a corporate shell.
The Front
On paper, STG is a premium private military corporation registered in neutral space.
They maintain:
-clean corporate bank accounts
-a polished public net‑presence
-“high‑value escort and protection services”
The Hunt
Their contracts give them access to:
-shipping manifests
-routing codes
-patrol schedules
If a freighter hires a cheaper competitor, STG uses that intel to slip past radar, jam long‑range comms, and board in total silence.
The Trade
Stolen cargo is funneled through STG‑owned shell companies, laundering plundered goods into clean galactic credits.
