Stellar Med Explorers (STLRMEDX) is dedicated to exploration, medical response, and search & rescue across the ‘verse. We explore the unknown, answer distress calls, and bring people home.

EXPLORERESPONDRESCUE

Beyond the Horizon. Never Beyond Reach.

History

## OUR BEGINNING

Stellar Med Explorers (STLRMEDX) was founded with a simple idea: exploration should never mean leaving people behind.

The vastness of the ‘verse creates incredible opportunities for discovery, but it also creates danger. Ships fail. Expeditions become stranded. Crews get injured. Travelers disappear beyond established routes. When that happens, someone needs to answer the call.

STLRMEDX was established to bring exploration, medical response, and search & rescue together under one organization.

Rather than choosing between discovering what lies beyond the horizon and helping those already out there, we chose to do both.

Our explorers scout and investigate the unknown. Our rescue teams respond when others are in trouble. Our medical personnel stabilize and recover those who need assistance. Supporting them are the pilots, engineers, logistics personnel, and security specialists who make those missions possible.

We are building STLRMEDX around teamwork rather than military hierarchy. Our members may have different specialties, ships, and experience levels, but every person contributes to the mission.

Our history is only beginning.

Every expedition we undertake, every distress call we answer, and every person we bring home will become another chapter.

Manifesto

## STELLAR MED EXPLORERS MANIFESTO

### OUR PURPOSE

Stellar Med Explorers (STLRMEDX) exists to explore the unknown, answer the call of those in need, and bring people home.

The ‘verse is vast. Beyond established routes are places waiting to be discovered, people who need assistance, and challenges that cannot always be faced alone.

We believe exploration and service belong together.

Our purpose is defined by three principles:

EXPLORERESPONDRESCUE

—-

### EXPLORE — GO BEYOND THE HORIZON

Exploration is at the heart of STLRMEDX.

We seek new locations, investigate unfamiliar territory, scout routes, survey environments, and venture into areas where information may be limited and assistance may be far away.

We explore not simply for discovery, but to better understand the places where we may someday be called to operate.

Every expedition expands our knowledge.

Every discovery prepares us for the next mission.

—-

### RESPONDANSWER THE CALL

When someone calls for assistance, STLRMEDX strives to respond.

A distress signal may come from an injured explorer, a disabled spacecraft, a stranded crew, or someone trapped far from established support.

Our response teams combine medical personnel, search-and-rescue specialists, pilots, explorers, engineers, logistics personnel, and security according to the needs of the mission.

We do not promise that every rescue will be easy.

We promise that distance alone will not stop us from trying.

—-

### RESCUEBRING THEM HOME

Finding someone is only the beginning.

Our objective is to locate those in need, reach them safely, stabilize the situation, recover personnel, and transport them to safety whenever possible.

The mission is not complete simply because we arrived.

The mission is complete when our people and those we came to help make it home.

—-

### EVERY ROLE MATTERS

Successful missions require more than medics and explorers.

Flight Operations gets us there.

Engineering keeps our ships and equipment operational.

Logistics ensures our teams have the fuel, supplies, equipment, and resources they need.

Security protects our personnel and those under our care when circumstances become hostile.

Every specialty contributes to the mission.

There are no unimportant crew positions aboard a STLRMEDX operation.

—-

### SERVICE BEFORE COMBAT

STLRMEDX is not primarily a combat organization.

We do not seek conflict for its own sake.

Our ships, equipment, and personnel exist first to support exploration, medical operations, and search & rescue.

However, operating beyond established space can be dangerous. When necessary, we will defend our crews, our patients, our ships, and those placed under our protection.

We prepare for danger without making danger our purpose.

—-

### TEAMWORK WITHOUT THE MILITARY RP

Organization matters. Leadership matters. Communication matters.

But STLRMEDX is not intended to become a rigid military role-playing organization.

Our rank structure exists to establish responsibility and provide clear leadership during operations—not to determine someone’s value within the organization.

When a mission begins, we work together, follow the mission plan, communicate clearly, and respect the responsibilities assigned to each member.

When the mission ends, we’re simply people enjoying Star Citizen together.

Professional when the mission starts. Friends when it ends.

—-

### THE STLRMEDX STANDARD

We strive to be an organization whose members can be counted on.

We value:

TEAMWORK — No one succeeds alone.

RELIABILITY — If we accept a mission, we make every reasonable effort to complete it.

PREPAREDNESS — Ships, equipment, supplies, and personnel should be ready before they are needed.

RESPECT — Treat members, allies, clients, and other players with respect.

SERVICE — When someone genuinely needs help, we answer when we can.

DISCOVERY — Never stop looking beyond the next horizon.

—-

### OUR COMMITMENT

STLRMEDX will continue to explore farther, improve our capabilities, train our crews, and develop the ships and resources necessary to operate throughout the ‘verse.

Some missions will begin because we are curious about what lies ahead.

Others will begin because someone needs us.

Either way, we intend to be ready.

Charter

  1. STELLAR MED EXPLORERS ORGANIZATION CHARTER

Organization: Stellar Med Explorers
Spectrum ID: STLRMEDX
Motto: Beyond the Horizon. Never Beyond Reach.

EXPLORERESPONDRESCUE

—-

## ARTICLE I — PURPOSE

Stellar Med Explorers (STLRMEDX) is a Star Citizen organization established around three primary missions:

EXPLORE — Chart, scout, survey, and investigate the unknown.

RESPOND — Answer distress calls and deploy appropriate Search & Rescue resources.

RESCUE — Locate, stabilize, recover, and safely transport personnel in need.

STLRMEDX supports these missions through Medical Operations, Search & Rescue, Exploration, Flight Operations, Engineering, Logistics, and Security.

Our objective is to provide an organized environment where members can work together, develop their skills, explore the ‘verse, assist other players, and enjoy Star Citizen as a team.

—-

## ARTICLE II — ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE

STLRMEDX is built around teamwork, friendship, service, and mutual respect.

We are organized during missions without becoming a rigid military role-playing organization.

Members are expected to communicate, cooperate, and respect the responsibilities of mission leadership while an operation is underway.

Outside of operations, rank does not determine the value or importance of a member.

Our culture can be summarized simply:

Professional when the mission starts. Friends when it ends.

—-

## ARTICLE IIIMEMBERSHIP

Membership in STLRMEDX is open to players interested in participating in or supporting the organization’s mission.

Members may specialize in one or several areas, including:

  • Exploration
  • Medical Operations
  • Search & Rescue
  • Flight Operations
  • Engineering
  • Logistics
  • Security

Members are encouraged to develop multiple skills so they can support different types of operations when necessary.

Membership does not require a specific ship.

The person behind the ship is more important than the ship itself.

—-

## ARTICLE IV — RANK STRUCTURE

STLRMEDX maintains a six-level rank structure to identify experience, responsibility, and operational leadership.

### RANK 5 — CHIEF

Senior organizational leadership responsible for the overall direction, administration, and long-term development of STLRMEDX.

### RANK 4 — CAPTAIN

Senior operational leaders trusted to command major missions, expeditions, rescue operations, and organizational assets.

### RANK 3 — TEAM LEAD

Experienced members authorized to lead individual teams, away missions, rescue units, exploration parties, and specialized operations.

### RANK 2 — SPECIALIST

Experienced members who have demonstrated proficiency within one or more operational specialties.

### RANK 1 — CREWMAN

Full operational members of STLRMEDX who participate in missions, training, expeditions, and organizational activities.

### RANK 0 — RECRUIT

New members becoming familiar with STLRMEDX operations, members, procedures, and culture.

Promotion is based on participation, reliability, experience, teamwork, demonstrated ability, and willingness to help others rather than simply time spent in the organization.

—-

## ARTICLE V — OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP

Every organized STLRMEDX mission should have clearly identified leadership.

The person designated to lead an operation has operational authority for the duration of that mission.

Mission leadership may be assigned based upon:

  • Rank
  • Experience
  • Mission specialty
  • Knowledge of the operating area
  • Ship or equipment requirements
  • Availability

A higher organizational rank does not automatically require that person to assume command of every operation.

The person best suited to lead the mission should be allowed to lead the mission.

Members participating in an organized operation are expected to follow reasonable instructions from the designated mission leader.

—-

## ARTICLE VI — MEDICAL & SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS

Preservation and recovery of personnel are central to the STLRMEDX mission.

During rescue operations, members should prioritize:

1. Locate — Determine the location and condition of those requiring assistance.

2. Assess — Identify threats, environmental hazards, medical needs, and extraction requirements.

3. Secure — Establish the safest practical environment for responders and patients.

4. Stabilize — Provide appropriate medical assistance.

5. Extract — Recover personnel from the immediate danger area.

6. Transport — Move recovered personnel to an appropriate safe location or medical facility.

No member should unnecessarily risk an entire rescue team or ship when conditions make recovery impractical.

We save lives without unnecessarily sacrificing others to do it.

—-

## ARTICLE VIIEXPLORATION OPERATIONS

STLRMEDX exploration operations may include scouting, surveying, reconnaissance, navigation, resource identification, route development, expedition support, and investigation of unfamiliar locations.

Information gathered during exploration should be shared with participating members and documented when practical.

Exploration teams should remain prepared for unexpected situations including mechanical failure, hostile encounters, environmental hazards, medical emergencies, and requests for assistance.

Exploration takes us beyond the horizon. Preparation brings us home.

—-

## ARTICLE VIIISECURITY & USE OF FORCE

STLRMEDX is not primarily a combat organization.

Combat exists to support the mission—not to become the mission.

Security personnel are responsible for protecting:

  • STLRMEDX personnel
  • Patients and rescued personnel
  • Organizational ships and equipment
  • Expedition teams
  • Medical facilities and rescue locations
  • Allied personnel operating with STLRMEDX

Members should avoid unnecessary conflict whenever practical.

However, STLRMEDX members may defend themselves, their teammates, their patients, their ships, and those under their protection when threatened.

Piracy, griefing, deliberate attacks against innocent players, or using STLRMEDX operations as an excuse to prey upon others are inconsistent with the organization’s purpose.

—-

## ARTICLE IX — MEMBER CONDUCT

Members representing STLRMEDX are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively upon the organization.

Members should:

Respect others.
Treat fellow members and other players appropriately.

Work as a team.
Individual actions should not unnecessarily jeopardize an organized mission.

Communicate.
Provide information teammates need to perform their responsibilities.

Be dependable.
If you commit to an organized operation, make a reasonable effort to participate.

Help others learn.
Experienced members should help newer members develop their skills.

Have fun.
Star Citizen is a game, and STLRMEDX exists because we enjoy playing it together.

Harassment, discrimination, deliberate griefing, cheating, exploitation, or behavior intended to damage STLRMEDX or its members may result in disciplinary action or removal from the organization.

—-

## ARTICLE X — ORGANIZATIONAL ASSETS

Ships and equipment voluntarily made available for STLRMEDX operations remain the property of their respective owners unless specifically designated otherwise.

Members are not required to provide personally owned ships or equipment for organizational operations.

When using another member’s ship, vehicle, equipment, or resources, members are expected to treat those assets responsibly.

Organizational resources should be used primarily to support STLRMEDX activities and objectives.

—-

## ARTICLE XI — ALLIANCES & COOPERATION

STLRMEDX may cooperate with other organizations and independent players when doing so supports our mission.

Joint operations may include:

  • Search & Rescue
  • Medical support
  • Exploration
  • Expedition support
  • Logistics
  • Transportation
  • Emergency response
  • Security support

Cooperation with another organization does not automatically place STLRMEDX members under permanent authority of that organization.

Operational command arrangements for joint missions should be established before the mission whenever practical.

—-

## ARTICLE XIILEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY

Leadership within STLRMEDX is a responsibility, not a privilege.

Leaders are expected to:

  • Support the mission of STLRMEDX.
  • Treat members fairly.
  • Help develop newer members.
  • Encourage teamwork.
  • Communicate expectations clearly.
  • Resolve disagreements professionally.
  • Place the success of the team ahead of personal recognition.

Rank should never become an excuse to disrespect another member.

Leadership is demonstrated through service to the team.

—-

## ARTICLE XIIICHARTER AUTHORITY

The Founder and senior leadership of STLRMEDX maintain responsibility for the administration and continued development of the organization.

This Charter may be updated as Star Citizen evolves, new gameplay systems become available, and the needs of STLRMEDX change.

Significant changes should remain consistent with the organization’s established purpose and three primary mission principles:

EXPLORERESPONDRESCUE

—-

  1. OUR COMMITMENT

We will explore where the map ends.

We will prepare before the call comes.

We will respond when others need assistance.

We will protect those entrusted to our care.

We will work together so everyone has the best opportunity to make it home.
