Special Operations. Zero Limitations
Section Zero was born not on any battlefield, but in the shadowed corridors of interstellar bureaucracy. Following the Xenothreat invasion, classified bodies within the United Empire of Earth authorized a new experimental unit, made up of ex-special forces and elite civillian contractors, to be developed.
The directive had one purpose: create a taskforce that operated beyond traditional command structures, reporting only to the highest level of Intelligence Command. They would be invisible, unacknowledged, and absolutely unbound by jurisdictional red tape.
They were designated: Section Zero.
Section Zero does not occupy space, defend planets, or win hearts and minds. It exists only to execute the missions no other unit can survive—let alone admit. Assassinations. Deep recon behind enemy lines. Artifact retrieval in unstable sectors. Fleet infiltration. False-flag disruption. HVT extraction from red-zones and quarantine sectors.
Recruitment is conducted by observation and redirection, not applications. Operatives are pulled from elite forces—if they’re lucky—or from enemy combatants who showed… potential.
Once inducted, operatives are declared KIA on all official records. There is no returning to civilian life.
I. Mission Directive
Section Zero exists to execute high-risk, high-value special operations in hostile, denied, or politically sensitive environments throughout known and unknown space.
Its operatives act with complete autonomy, precision, and discretion, answering only to Internal Command Tier Zero.
II. Core Principles
Obedience to Mission Above All
The objective is absolute. Personal safety, moral ambiguity, or external pressures must not impede mission success.
Operational Silence
Identities, communications, and mission details are to remain classified. Any breach is treated as an existential threat to the unit.
Zero Recognition
No insignia. No affiliation. Members do not publicly identify as part of Section Zero. All operatives are officially KIA, MIA, or unknown.
Excellence in Execution
Every engagement must reflect elite proficiency in combat, stealth, and critical decision-making. The failure of one reflects on all.
Autonomy in Action
Operatives are entrusted with independent command authority once deployed. Adaptation and improvisation are expected.
No Collateral Justified
Civilian or allied casualties are unacceptable unless mission-critical and command-sanctioned. Precision is not optional.
Loyalty Without Question
Internal cohesion is paramount. Betrayal, desertion, or ideological deviation will be met with permanent removal.
III. Operational Conduct
Codenames are to be used in all communication.
Mission Logs must be submitted via secure black-channel protocols.
Equipment Loadouts are mission-specific; requisition only what you can justify and carry.
Chain of Command must be respected during active deployment.
Kill Confirmation is required only for high-value targets unless otherwise directed.
Extraction is a privilege, not a guarantee.
IV. Disciplinary Actions
Violations of the Charter result in immediate disciplinary review. Potential outcomes include:
Nullification of operational privileges
Command override and reassignment
Memory scrubs or cognitive confinement
Termination (classified)
