History
TEV was established in 2548 with the official coronation of Ivar Messer as the Verse’s first Imperator and the start of the United Empire of Earth. In those first decades The Vanguard was primarily an elite body guarding force dedicated to protecting the Imperator from imperial dissidents unhappy with the change in government. Most notably, were involved in preventing the would be assassination’s of Messer in The Manhattan Plot of 2587.
In 2608, the Second Tevarin War marked the beginning of TEV’s change from a defensive force to a fully fledged military force when the Tevarin invaders tried to reclaim their former home world on Elysium IV. There after the Emerald Vanguard left their role in the background and began active bounty hunting and law keeping duties. They began to grow; and as they did, so did their need for a diversified core of medical professionals and supporting infrastructure.
A little over four centuries later, The Emerald Vanguard is now an independent group of bounty hunters, traders, builders, and life savers. A group of friendly and open spacers set on adventure. We defend our own and make the system a better place.

What is the Emerald Vanguard’s mission?
We at the Emerald Vanguard are all about protecting our assets and our local system. Our goal is to establish a base of operation by land charter or discovery, and to protect our land from pirates and terrorists (griefers for the laymen). Once we have a firm foot hold in the Verse we will expand to protecting others homes and land for a fee. bq.
What does it mean to be a member?
For members, there are many activities and duties to keep you occupied and engaged. We do frequent events including dogfighting exercises, bounty hunting sprees, and mining expeditions. Asides from events we are implementing many divisions to our org to fill job niches and needs for our players. One such division coming up in the soon approaching 3.15 will be our Medical Core, who will be first responders for injured players in need of resuscitation.
