History
Excerpt taken from a message to UEE Fleet Admiral:

“While no official records exist of this group, it is believed that The Gilded Hand first started off as a small band of mercenaries smuggling much-needed supplies to outer systems in the frontier. This changed after the Vanduul attacks where they used their small size, and lightning fast agility, to dodge blockades to reach the near destroyed settlements of the frontier. Then, shortly after an internal power struggle that saw some of its disagreeable members ‘removed’, The Gilded Hand seemed to disappear from frontier space. Reports have no begun circulating about a band of outlaws harassing cargo freighters, company mining craft and seemingly any ship they can find out in the frontier. Intel supplied by covert operatives suggest they frequently run smuggling jobs in and out of several of the core systems. They are highly skilled and incredibly dangerous. All attempts to apprehend these fugitives has resulted in failure.”

We’re the guys that will roll up our sleeves and happily get our hands dirty for you. For a price.
Charter
Once your application to join our very legitimate organisation has been approved, three tests await you:
- Strength
- Skill
- Loyalty
Together they are known as “The Gauntlet”. Many have tried, few have passed.
However if you pass, you will be assigned a role based on your result. We have five ‘Fingers’ that make up The Gilded Hand’s totally legitimate organisation, and these ‘Fingers’ are in a lot of pies:
Flight crew:
The backbone of our organisation. The men and women that put themselves in the front seat flying our craft and spreading our message across the systems.
Logistics:
The guys in the chair. You’ll make sure assets arrive where they’re supposed to and ensure that routes are properly mapped.
Management:
No totally legitimate organisation can operate without effective leadership and management. You’ll be in charge of making sure that the people below you are doing their jobs properly.
Data gathering:
Lone pilots operating for extended periods of time away from home. You would ensure that the information received by Logistics is reliable and up-to-date.
Liaison officers:
The face of our organisation. Boots on the ground men and women making sure our clients receive the care our totally legitimate organisation promises.
