The Universe is Vast, and offers Death, but also brings Beauty to take the breath.
A few sat down, all battle torn and between them an alliance was born….
To face the darkness and the light, to control their own destiny, and put fire to their fight.
They would fly…as a team…as a force…. they said “safety in numbers” of course!
Bringing hell to their foes, as for their profits money grows.
They would stand as One… and as Two… and when together as a Crew.
In their leisure they would find new places to explore and sip on wine.
This Team, This Crew, This Band, all Freelancers yet hand in hand.
YOU watch our backs, and we watch you. This is our CORE and this is truth.
But keep it secret, our path is low. Our darkest courses no one will know.
THE LORE
In 2470 a founder crash landed and to survive he managed to take shelter in a cave on the large smog planet Ellis II in the Ellis System.
The legend is that Markis Bayne a Freelancer / Mercenary discovered an alien artifact in that cave good for capturing the dense atmosphere of Ellis II. It somehow transforms the air into a liquid.
When consumed this liquid causes flesh and it’s connected materials to appear as a gas or dark foggy form. Seemingly invisible against the night sky and in stormy or foggy conditions, this liquid became the basis for a new type of camouflage.
Bayne along with the help of a close friend and scientist Dr. P.J. Smokey Johnson used this secret formula to become two of the wealthiest citizens in the system. They kept this formula secret and to this day it’s rumored to be the weapon behind the mysterious organization known as …… THE DARK STORM DIVISION.
Manifesto
CORE MECHANICS AND OBJECTIVES
Survival: Self Preservation for ourselves and our Org mates IS CORE. Protect one another with your lives!
Freelancing: get your money, via trading, smuggling, escorts, bounties, stealing? ( NEVER FROM YOUR MATES, however we do not “openly” claim or state the particulars of events where our ENEMIES’ “assets” have vanished )
Exploration: we are always on the grind to make a lucrative find…
Shadow / Stealth: we value your silence on the where abouts of any routes, points, places, actions, events, citizens, and resources that our Council has deemed as under “Black Curtains”. This is the code for Shadow Ops and Org only ASSETS, not to be spoken of in public arenas. (This should go without saying but it’s also a bit of enjoyable Role Play… S.Y.M. – shhhhhut your mouth !)
Chapter I Rights: ALL ORG MEMBERS ARE EQUAL. OUR COUNCIL OPERATES BASED ON VOTING MEMBERS AND DECLARATIONS.
THE COUNCIL WAS ESTABLISHED FROM THE FOUNDATIONAL PERIOD TO CARRY ON BASIC ORG UPKEEP. BASIC UPKEEP IS DETERMINED BY MEMBER REQUESTS AND VOTING MEMBERS.
THIS ORG IS RELAXED AND CASUAL.
ORG MEMBERS MAY CREATE THEIR OWN EVENTS, TEAMS AND MISSIONS.
ENJOYMENT AND REAL LIFE COME FIRST.

This Chapter 001 of the DARK STORM DIVISION has come to be on this frozen planet of Microtech in New Babbage City in the star system of Stanton the year of 2950.
Our cause is both personal and collective, to survive, to enjoy, to succeed, and live free.
