Who’s Every port has a loud bar. The League was founded because someone wanted the other kind.The story — if anyone asks — is simple. A handful of pilots grew tired of shouty hangars and orgs that confused volume with loyalty. They took a back corridor on a station no one maps, hung a lamp that stayed dim, and agreed on one rule: the Room is for members, and members do not talk about the Room.There is no founding admiral. There is a first night, a first bottle, and a first password that has already been changed. The League of Ordinary Gentleman and Ladies exists wherever two members can close a hatch, pour a drink, and leave the ’verse outside.If you are looking for a parade, keep walking. Manifesto

The League is a speakeasy with a roster.We are ordinary. We keep it that way on purpose. Fame attracts attention; attention attracts trouble; trouble gets the door kicked in.The house believes:

  • Discretion is a skill, not a costume.
  • Courtesy is the cover charge.
  • A closed mouth is worth more than a rare ship.
  • The evening belongs to the people in the Room — not to Spectrum, not to clip farmers.
  • You can make a living in the grey without becoming a thug. We haul, we trade, we take quiet jobs. We do not grief. We do not brag.

The house rejects:

  • Performative “elite” culture
  • Drama as entertainment
  • Turning members into content

You do not need a tuxedo. You need the sense to lower your voice when the lamp is lit.

Charter

Charter (house rules)
I. The name

League of Ordinary Gentleman and Ladies. In voice we say the League or the Room.
II. The door

Membership is by knock, not by resume. Guests are walked in by a member. The password changes. Do not post it on public Spectrum.
III. The Room

What is said in org voice, Discord private channels, and after-hours ops stays there. No posting other members’ business, routes, or real names.
IV. Conduct

No griefing, scamming, or baiting fights for content.
No harassment. “Gentleman and Ladies” means everyone who can keep the peace is welcome.
Do not represent the League in public without a Steward’s nod.
If you cannot make a night you signed for, send word.
Leave your war at the hatch. The Room is not a recruitment office for other people’s beef.

V. The grey line

Quiet freight, favors, and “don’t ask twice” jobs are allowed if they do not burn the house. Open piracy, pad-ramming, and making the League a wanted name are not. If the Advocacy would recognize your stream highlight, it does not belong here.
VI. Offices (speakeasy titles)

Title Job
Proprietor Founder. Holds the lease. Final say on the door.
Barkeep Officer. Runs nights, pours the schedule.
Doorman Recruiter / gate. Walks guests in, walks problems out.
Regular Full member. Knows the password.
Guest On a tab. Trial. One month or a few nights, then in or out.
