Small crew. Casual players. Serious pirates when we’re online. THENPC specializes in route interdiction, ambushes, EMP/disablement, concentrated DPS, boarding, and cargo theft. We recruit few, fly together, have fun, and make somebody’s trade run a bad day.

History

THE NAKED PIRATE CARTEL

Every organization has a beginning.

Ours was probably a bad idea.

The Naked Pirate Cartel — THENPC — wasn’t created to become the biggest organization in the ‘verse. We weren’t interested in ranks, medals, politics, or building a roster full of people who barely knew each other.

We wanted a crew.

A small group of friends who could fly together, hunt together, fight together, steal things together, and laugh when the entire plan inevitably went sideways.

That became the Cartel.

—————————————————-

THE BEGINNING

The idea was simple:

Find the target.
Control the engagement.
Disable the ship.
Take what’s worth taking.
Disappear.

Sometimes it works exactly like that.

Sometimes somebody says:

“I have an idea.”

And fifteen minutes later we’re trying to figure out why a ship is upside down, somebody is floating through space, and half the crew is laughing too hard to explain what happened.

Those nights are usually better anyway.

THENPC was built around that philosophy.

We’re here to play the game, create our own adventures, and leave with stories worth telling.

Winning is good.

Loot is better.

Having a damn good time getting it is the point.

—————————————————-

THE CORE SEVEN

At the center of THENPC are seven names.

Each has a job.

Whether they actually stay in their lane is another matter entirely.

GHOST — RECON & HUNT

Eyes of the Cartel.

Ghost watches the routes, finds the opportunities, tracks movement, and identifies the targets worth pursuing.

When Ghost says:

“Target acquired.”

The Cartel starts moving.

—————————————————-

GUNNDAR — OPERATIONS

Voice of the Cartel.

Gunndar watches the bigger picture.

Timing.
Positioning.
Escape routes.
Traffic.
The trap.

His job isn’t simply knowing when to attack.

It’s knowing when not to.

When Gunndar says it’s time, the trap closes.

—————————————————-

BISHOP — ASSAULT

Hammer of the Cartel.

Once diplomacy has reached its natural conclusion, Bishop handles the rest.

Shields disappear.

Armor starts failing.

Engines start screaming.

Subtlety is somebody else’s department.

—————————————————-

JUN — SPECIAL OPERATIONS

Wildcard of the Cartel.

Bait.
Flanking.
Distraction.
Boarding support.

Or something completely different that wasn’t mentioned during the briefing.

If Jun says:

“Trust me.”

Prepare for anything.

—————————————————-

WOLF — INTERDICTION

Gatekeeper of the Cartel.

Finding a target is only useful if the target doesn’t leave.

Wolf controls the escape routes, pursues fleeing ships, and makes sure that once the Cartel closes the door, it stays closed.

Ghost finds you.

Gunndar traps you.

Bishop opens fire.

Wolf makes sure you stay.

—————————————————-

HOGDOG — BOARDING & RECOVERY

Collector of the Cartel.

Eventually somebody has to go inside.

Cargo.
Components.
Salvage.
Recovery.

If it’s valuable, interesting, useful, or simply isn’t bolted down hard enough, Hogdog probably wants it.

Ownership is a temporary condition.

Until the Cartel arrives.

—————————————————-

OMNOM — OFFICE & RECRUITMENT

Keeper of the Cartel.

Every pirate organization eventually discovers the terrible truth:

Somebody has to handle the people.

That’s Omnom.

Recruitment.
Organization.
New members.
Keeping the crew connected.

THENPC isn’t interested in collecting hundreds of names on a roster.

We’re interested in finding people who belong here.

Omnom helps answer the most important question about anyone wanting to join:

“Are they one of us?”

THE CARTEL TODAY

The ships have gotten bigger.

The targets have gotten more interesting.

The plans have become slightly more complicated.

The results remain unpredictable.

But the idea behind THENPC hasn’t changed.

Stay small.

Know your crew.

Play together.

Take risks.

Cause trouble.

Steal something occasionally.

And never take any of it too seriously.

We’re not trying to become the biggest organization in the ‘verse.

We’re trying to become the crew people remember running into.

For better or worse.

Usually worse.

THE NAKED PIRATE CARTEL

THENPC

Nobody wants to fight a naked guy.

Manifesto

We are pirates.

We don’t pretend otherwise.

We’re here to hunt, intercept, steal, board, fight, and occasionally ruin someone’s carefully planned cargo run.

Our preferred method is simple:

Find the route.

Set the trap.

Interdict.

Disable.

Overwhelm.

Take the prize.

We use ships and crew roles that complement each other. Interdiction and disabling capabilities give us the opportunity to control the engagement. Concentrated DPS makes the target reconsider its life choices. Boarding and cargo operations finish the job.

But THENPC isn’t a military organization.

We’re casual players.

We have jobs, families, responsibilities, and lives outside Star Citizen. Nobody is expected to treat the game like a second career.

When we’re online, though, we play together.

And when enough Cartel members are in the same place, the safest route through the system may suddenly become the one we’re camping.

We’re not trying to own the ‘Verse.

We’re just trying to make crossing it interesting.

Charter

### THE CARTEL COMES FIRST

We’re a crew of friends. Treat your fellow Cartel members accordingly.

### REAL LIFE COMES FIRST

Nobody gets punished for having a life outside Star Citizen.

### KEEP IT FUN

We’re here to play a game, tell stories, and have a good time. Winning is great. Losing spectacularly can be even better.

### FLY TOGETHER

When the Cartel forms up, watch each other’s backs. Communicate. Don’t leave your crew hanging.

### PIRACY IS THE BUSINESS

Interdiction, piracy, PvP, boarding, cargo theft, and related activities are what we enjoy doing together.

### DON’T BE THAT GUY

We’re pirates in a video game. That doesn’t mean being an asshole to the people we play with.

### KEEP THE CARTEL SMALL

We’re open to recruiting, but selectively. We would rather have a small crew that knows and trusts each other than a massive roster full of strangers.

### SHARE THE STORIES

Every operation doesn’t need to be a victory.

If we got the cargo, great.

If we got blown up, tell the story.

If somebody did something incredibly stupid, we’re probably going to remember it forever.

### AND FINALLY…

Nobody wants to fight a naked guy.

That’s why we’re the Naked Pirate Cartel.
