Welcome to the Rogue Traders Coalition, a group for players wishing to operate on the edge of space with the support and community of a traditional organization, but the freedom of solo play. So claim your Warrant of Trade and set out to make your destiny among the stars.
History
Rogue Traders are almost as old as space travel itself. The RTC was created by some of the first of these adventurers.
Manifesto
The RTC is network for like minded players who want the benefits of a supportive community without giving up the freedom to play how they want. (We also want to make this a place for people who don’t have the time to play a lot, but want to be able to get the full experience when they do get online by helping crew a ship they’d never be able to buy themselves.)
Our Mission: The RTC is all about the frontier. Rogue Traders are equal parts explorer, warrior, and merchants. Men and women who are always going to push the edges of known space. The goal of RTC is to make available the resources and diverse community these players need to play how they want without having to give up control to a large organization. Members should support each other on any level from simply exchanging information to selling each other materials to hiring each other all the way to forming Trade Fleets for big dangerous jobs.
Structure: The RTC is completely member driven and controlled. All members are equal partners in the coalition. You can interact as much or as little with the community as you wish there are no required levels of commitment. How much you commit to the community is how much it will commit to you.
Charter
Who we’re looking for: Friendly cooperative players or small groups who want to explore and work in dangerous and expensive space usually reserved for only larger organization without giving up the freedom of being their own boss. All career paths welcome.
Emergency Aid: Frontier space is a dangerous place, and there’s many things that can land you in hot water. When members find themselves in serious trouble they can put out an official RTC emergency aid call with their location and type of aid required. This is one of the primary roles of the RTC and members who are able are expected but not obligated to answer these calls.
Our “rules”: Attacking other RTC members is strictly prohibited, and grounds for being banned. If you are involved in an unlawful activity other members are not obligated to answer EA calls. The RTC is a player managed group and there are no official rules governing interactions and exchanges between members. You are expected to treat each other fairly, and any disagreements or grievances should be brought up to an admin who will present it to the community for them to rule on.
The RTC is non-exclusive.
