History
The Templar Knights of War, otherwise known as the Templar, are a paramilitary organization developed after the CDF began incentivizing mercenary and civilian groups to defend against the XenoThreat – although the actual origin is not that simple.
Individual mercenary contractors would struggle against the organized attacks of the outlaw forces. Bright stars of their own right, burnt out by missiles and overwhelming firepower. Logistics officials of the CDF approached a group of contractors who were already pooling their resources, their contacts, and their ships together. Empowered by official channels, they could begin to make a difference.
And begin they did.
“Templar” always had righteous connotations. Adopting that name for the new mercenary company, the crews, the brave men and women were given something to rally behind. Given something more to fight for than money, possessions, or security.
The Templars, the Knights of War as they would come to be called, found themselves embroiled in not only the business of pushing back the XenoThreat, but also in expanding their influence, called upon time and time again to fight as part of the CDF. Not just as soldiers of fortune, but beacons of right in a world surrounded by wrong.
When the XenoThreat is pushed back, when the Templars make history, when the Knights of War bring on justice time and time again, will your name be among the Knights? Will you be remembered as a loyal defender, a Templar?

Manifesto
As Knights of the Templar, we uphold the values of the honorable.
We strive to become the best that we can be, ever demanding more and more from others as well as ourselves. The Templar stands as a protectorate, a buffer for the systems of this universe. We are protectors and eliminators, we are Both the Spear and the shield.

The Templar also assist in fragile matters, such as those of: Communication, Civilian Expertise, Diplomatic matters, and much, much more. The Templar strive to become everything that is missing in this world. Whatever the Templar can do to assist, we will to the best of our ability.
