The Quantum Initiative / TQI

Beginnings

At the dawn of the 27th century the United Empire of Earth was in the grip of the fascist dictatorship of the Imperators. During this time billions of people living on the annexed worlds of the UEE were enslaved and forced into labor so that the Imperators could maintain their iron grip on humanity. After nearly two centuries of torment, the people of the UEE finally rebelled against their oppressors and restored the tribunal system.

Even though the two hundred year reign of terror had been ended there were still those who were distrustful and would never again submit to a central authority. Amongst these were a group of six friends, they decided it was time to take control of their freedom for once and for all, and that henceforth they would only work towards their own prosperity. These six founded The Quantum Initiative, a group open to all those seeking freedom and prosperity.

Just like the way all galactic forces are mere sums of billions of tiny quantum effects, the quantum initiative uses many small acts of little people to carve out a piece of the universe where prosperity and freedom reign supreme.
