History

Tactical Salvage, Repair & Rescue, LLC (TSR&R) was officially created on March 3rd, 2944, in order to fulfill an over-looked yet critical market: Rescue and Repair services for individuals who do not have ready access to such skills and resources.

We at TSR&R see ourselves as the guardian angels of the noble, independent ship captain. Whether piloting the venerable Aurora, or the mighty Starfarer, TSR&R wants to be a part of your life and your community. This company is built upon a strict, professional code of conduct that is incompatible with piracy, raiding, banditry, or any activity that seeks to relieve law-abiding citizens of their life, liberty, or property.

Tactical Salvage, Rescue & Repair is a licensed and legal LLC (limited liability company) that operates well within the boundaries of UEE’s Law of Salvage (“Galactic Rights and Tradition of Salvage,” UEE Mandate 1646, art. 2, sec.1) and the Maritime Distress and Rescue Conventions (“Good Space Samaritan,” Mandate 1301, art.1 sec.1). Operations and associations with illegal entities are avoided at all reasonable cost, and libelous or slanderous accusations to the opposite effect will be fought to the greatest degree of legal recourse available, up to and including counter-suits for wrongful defamation.

Manifesto

Tactical Salvage, Rescue & Repair (TSR&R) is a brand new enterprise that offers the law-abiding galactic community with the services and capabilities to which many individual pilots may not have ready access. These services include, but are not limited to:

(1) In-space Repair

TSR&R is ready and willing to rush to your aid (following a VERY quick background check) in order to affect life-saving interventions for both you and your ship. Our highly trained and motivated Rescue Operators are decorated combat veterans of the UEE military, certified as both Combat Life Savers (Level 2 certification) and Naval Combat Engineers (In-space Repair Operations, Level 3 certification).*

(2) Salvage

TSR&R’s Rescue Operators are experts in the art of quickly salvaging vacant ships that are in need of repair and/or retrieval. If you’ve managed to turn the tables on a group of would-be pirates, or you’ve encountered an unclaimed space wreck, TSR&R will ALWAYS respect your rights to salvage, and initiate in-space repairs so that you can fly the ship home, or pilot/tow the craft back to a UEE-legal home port of your choice.**

(3) Rescue

In the absence of UEE military or local law enforcement, TSR&R is prepared to execute Tactical Rescue Operations (TRO) with swift and uncompromising prejudice. Our Rescue Operators, with years of combined combat experience in the elite forces of the UEE, will interrupt, engage, and destroy hostile craft that are threatening and/or attacking you and your associated parties.

As befitting the increased risk of such operations, TSR&R will assume all rights to any salvage that is accrued during the course of a TRO, not including ships that have been destroyed or incapacitated prior to our arrival. Our Rescue Operators are also ready and willing to quickly negotiate on-site sales of your salvaged craft, for your convenience.***

Charter

At this time, I have created this page in order to reserve the name, and to begin the process of building an organization. Due to these current restrictions, and until such time that I feel TSR&R is ready for full-scale recruitment, I have now marked our organizations as “Not Recruiting.”

Please contact me, “Gunfodder,” with a message via the forum system, so that we can chat and begin to make plans for the organization, if you so desire. I did not realize that I would begin receiving applications within seconds of having published the page, and in hindsight should have made sure the recruiting option was toggled to “No” until absolutely everything was “Dress right, DRESS.”

Tactical Salvage, Repair & Rescue will post its official company charter upon completion of its drafting and internal review, and shortly thereafter, begin open recruiting. Thank you, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
