Founding

Underground Commercial Transport is small private sector company specializing in Transport services. Underground, originally founded on Earth as an Underground subway service in the UK, branched off into the transport sector while expanding their subway service to other colonies and planets. Underground saw financial growth in acquiring transport equipment and smaller private companies while expanding their services instead of paying third party companies for Freight. After seeing multiple waves of expansion into other galaxy sectors, Underground no longer obtained the profits from the Transportation freighting company that they used to, and inside use of the services were no longer needed.

Re-sale

After retiring the CEO of the 22 century decided to bow out of the transportation business and sell off the majority stake of the company. The subway services and public transportation portion of the company was bought out by a larger corporation and re-branded. The transportation portion of the company was of no interest to the buyers and therefore decided to sell off this now small sector of the company to a fellow board member to operate independently as a newly founded private company.

The Underground of today primarily focuses its business in private contracts. From large freighter jobs, small express package delivery and even secure escort services, UCTI is ready for your loyal business.
