UEE 3rd Ranger Regiment / UEERANGERS

The Third Ranger Regiment has a history older than the United Empire of Earth (UEE). First activated in 2523 by the United Planets of Earth (UPE) Army in order to maintain the border regions of the UPE. When Ivar Messer founded the UEE, the Third Ranger Regiment kept its organization and experienced very little reformation.

Rangers have historically worked alone or in small teams either providing reconnaissance for larger forces or carrying surgical strikes on Vanduul or criminal syndicates. Recruits are typically natives from the border territories and must prove their capabilities under harsh testing. Only 10 out of 45 candidates pass the course. Rangers not only receive tactical training but also legal training on UEE laws as they must sometimes provide law enforcement in remote locations.
