For otherwise solo-playing noobs and ideally some veterans who love to show and teach the game to come together once in a while, learn about the game and make some progress without getting slapped by random cartel organizations at every quest and location.
And of course, for Stargate fans too.
Stargate Command (SGC) was founded on March 13, 2026, born out of a single, positive interaction in the Verse. I had recently returned to Star Citizen and didn’t know anyone who still played. The universe felt massive, complex, and frankly, a bit overwhelming for someone without the unlimited free time of a teenager.
Then, I met a friendly Citizen who went out of their way to show me the ropes. It was a simple act of goodwill, but it completely changed my experience. He agreed to help me build an organization based on that exact principle: players helping players. And so, SGC was born.
The foundation of SGC was built on a simple realization: Star Citizen is a game where it often feels like you need to study a gameplay loop for three years at a university just to complete a basic mission. When you factor in real-life responsibilities, trying to accomplish anything solo can easily turn into a massive waste of time.
We realized that casual players needed a place to assemble. “Apes Together Strong” became our founding philosophy. It was a recognition that precisely because we are casuals with real lives, families, and jobs, we must stand together to actually enjoy the game. Success wasn’t a stressful mandate; teaming up so we didn’t have to face the grind alone was.
Stargate Command is a sanctuary for players who want to experience everything the Verse has to offer without being gatekept. We are here to fight injustice and put an end to non-consensual PvP in lawful systems like Stanton.
We all know the massive time investment required to prepare for any activity in this game. Because of that, the actions of an absolute fraction of a percent of the playerbase inside (at least lawful) systems of the Verse, hit incredibly hard. There are very few of these outlaws—they are a literal drop in the Verse. But because everything takes so long to set up, having hours of prep ruined in seconds by unprovoked attacks is incredibly discouraging.
SGC exists to combat this microscopic minority of unpunished criminals that bullies people out of enjoying their game, experience content, find new friends and have fun as a Star Citizen!
We operate under a strict code: We do not shoot innocent people, and we do not shoot first—unless a threat is actively identified and confirmed as a criminal aggressor. We are the shield for the casual player, not the instigator.
Our goal is to build a self-sustaining community so large that we can eventually form dedicated, casual-friendly units to sweep criminals from lawful systems entirely.
To achieve this without the logistical nightmare of archaic schedules, we are planning and developing a custom SGC web and mobile application. This will allow our members (and potentially more at some point) to seamlessly assemble groups for mining, farming, or bringing justice to Stanton.
Hardcore players and veterans are welcome, especially if you love to teach, and sorely needed to get this going anywhere. Just don’t expect every single player to be just like you, since the majority of players will be casuals, with limited free time who still want to enjoy the Verse. Which will be achieved through numbers and ease of assembly.
