History
The Genesis of the Fleet
In the early days of the Stanton system’s corporate expansion, a small coalition of independent pilots, miners, and security officers realised a grim truth: the vastness of the black is inherently fracturing. Divided by corporate greed, threatened by Pyro-based raiders, and often abandoned by the slow-moving bureaucracy of the United Empire of Earth (UEE), the everyday spacer was utterly isolated.
Following a devastating pirate ambush in the asteroid belts of Yela, survivors from three separate industrial fleets bound their remaining ships together. They realised that survival required more than just firepower—it required a unified front.
They looked out into the lawless dark and swore an oath to bring order, structure, and absolute unity to the frontier. What began as a desperate pact for survival quickly evolved. They called their movement Unite the Kosmos, utilising the ancient, stylised spelling of Kosmos to represent not just physical space, but the grand, interconnected order of the universe itself.
Today, UTK has grown from a handful of battered hulls into a highly organised, multi-role fleet. Operating across the UEE frontier and deep into lawless space, UTK stands as a beacon of collective strength, proving that when the Kosmos is united under a single banner, no force in the verse can break us.
Manifesto
Our Core Philosophy
The Kosmos is beautiful, but it is uncaring. It is a frontier of infinite wealth and infinite danger. To fly alone is to invite disaster. To fly together is to conquer the stars.
At the heart of Unite the Kosmos lie three absolute truths:
◉ Strength Through Union: One hull is easily broken. A fleet operating with a singular mind and a shared purpose is invincible. We pool our resources, share our intelligence, and protect our own without hesitation.
◉ The Mastery of Space: We do not merely survive in the void; we claim it. Whether through the extraction of raw materials, the securing of volatile trade routes, or the tactical elimination of hostile threats, UTK exists to bring stability and prosperity to our members.
◉ Self-Reliance Beyond the Empire: While we respect the laws of the UEE where applicable, UTK relies on its own strength. We build our own economy, enforce our own security, and dictate our own destiny among the stars.
We invite all who are tired of drifting aimlessly to join us. Pilots, marines, engineers, and industrialists—all have a home within the collective. Together, we will bring order to the chaos. Together, we will Unite the Kosmos.
Charter
The Code of Conduct
Every member of UTK binds themselves to this Charter. To wear the UTK tag is to uphold the integrity of the entire fleet.
1. The Principle of Mutual Defence
An attack on one UTK member is an attack on the entire Organization. No matter the sector, no matter the danger, if a distress call is broadcast by a brother or sister-in-arms, all available units are expected to assist or retaliate.
2. Operational Integrity and Profit Sharing
Whether participating in a massive mining operation, a multi-crew cargo run, or a high-risk combat deployment, all spoils, salvage, and aUEC profits will be divided fairly based on operational contribution. The Organization takes only a minimal tax to fund the maintenance of fleet carriers and capital ships.
3. Internal Discipline and Respect
Internal drama destroys fleets faster than rail-guns. All members will treat their fellow crew-mates with respect. Disagreements will be handled privately or escalated to Fleet Command. Betrayal, espionage, or firing upon an ally will result in immediate exile, a permanent blacklisting, and a bounty placed on the offender’s head.
4. Representation in the Verse
When flying under the UTK banner in global communication channels, members must maintain a professional and formidable reputation. We do not engage in petty space-pirate squabbles or toxic banter. We let our efficiency, our coordination, and our firepower speak for us.
