It was a cold day on Microtech, 2985…

Our founders HydraPort, and starkittenjade, were two lone Fighter Pilots trying to afford to live in the ever-growing city of New Babbage. Taking any contract they could. Just to survive. But one day, a contractor came to them with the riskiest one they had ever come across – help the UEE in taking on an ever growing Pirate organisation, known as Evil Organised, in the depths of an abandoned Pyro space station. They would be provided any ship they needed, any weapons, and any flight suit they needed…

But it came at a cost.

The UEE was under scrutiny of insider trading on materials that came from their outposts in the Terra system at the time. And it was theorised in the* VOX POPULI (Nyx’s Official News Paper)*, that they hired Bounty Hunters to take the blame for any wrong doing from UEE higher ups. So the catch for our duo was this: If even one of the duo died in battle, the UEE would disavow any known action in providing the duo the opportunity. And would exile the surviving member to Aberdeen to cover the UEE’s tracks. And if neither of the duo made it out alive, it would be like their contract never existed…

Even after long consideration, the duo decided the take the risk.

They fought harder than they ever did before. They together, single-handedly took down a pirate-infiltrated Polaris in the heart of the battle. They were braver and bolder than any other fighter pilot the UEE had ever trained or come across before.

Fast forward to today, not only did they both survive, but they were both awarded Pristine Medals for the honour and bravery. They were provided secret technologies that only the UEE had possession of at the time, but were also given funding to create their very own organisation – as they both wanted to secure a future that didn’t include such risk for Bounty Hunters and Fighter Pilots across the ‘verse. An organisation that aims to help other organisations in providing the same support the UEE gave. Hydraport and starkittenjade later formed in 2987, what we now know as…
