Factors that influence our prices:

Type of mission:
Short deliveries for Covalex or Ling Family Hauling are simpler and safer,
while larger hauling missions involve more risk (pirates, NPC attacks).

Ship:
The larger our VD ship, the more cargo we can transport,
which can increase the price per delivery but also entails higher risk.

Route:
Long distances across multiple systems cost more time and fuel.

Risk:
VD transports through dangerous areas (e.g. Vanduul space) justify a higher price.

Our own costs:
Fuel consumption, ammunition, and repair costs.

How we calculate our prices:

Base price (for Covalex deliveries):
5,500 (a)UEC
+ a percentage of the profit,
10% of earnings.

For third-party contracts:
Fixed base price 25,000 (a)UEC
+ risk surcharge (negotiable)
+ a percentage of the profit,
25% of earnings.*

(For jobs we do for Star Citizen citizens that we classify as dangerous or high-risk,
we agree in advance on a fixed percentage or set a new fixed price including surcharges.)
