History

Manifesto

The Vega Consortium was started to reinvent how the universe transports goods and resources. Our goal is to take care of your cargo, and ensure it arrives quickly and safely, no matter where it needs to go. No environment is too rough, and no part of space is too unsafe.

Charter

Article 1 – Name

The name of the corporation is The Vega Consortium

Article 2 – The Board

The Board will consist of five majority shareholders(“Fleet Directors”), and the Chief Fleet Director.

Article 3 – Board Meetings

Annual Board Meeting

Board Meetings shall be held annually at Area 18 to elect new directors and implement new strategy for the year.

Special Meetings

Special meetings can be called at any time by the Chief Fleet Director as long as one day’s notice is given to the Board. These meetings can be held remotely.

Resolutions

All resolutions must be put before the board, and will only be resolved with a 2/3rds majority.

Article 4 – Officers

Directors

The Board will vote annually to elect Directors to vacant positions or to remove and replace current directors to the following positions: Director of Human Resources, Director of Marketing, Director of the Treasury, and the Director of Strategy.

Captains and First Officers

The Chief Fleet Director, with recommendations from the other five Fleet Directors, will appoint new Captains and First Officers annually.

Article 5 – Code of Conduct

  1. All members of the Vega Consortium are expected to conduct themselves professionally when on duty or when interacting with those outside of the Vega Consortium.
  2. All members of the Vega Consortium must act with integrity when conducting business for the Vega Consortium.
  3. All discourse within the public forums must be held to professional standards, and with common courtesy.
  4. The chain of command must be followed at all times. Disobeying a direct order from a superior may result in instant termination.

I, RidingKeys, The Chief Fleet Director, hereby sign this Charter, and that these bylaws will be implemented as of 11/28/2017.
