History
Raising sail and putting faith in the winds to lead them to unknown shores, the Vikings were the greatest explorers ever to strike out from their home shores. Heroes to some, daemons others – explorer or mercenary, the Vikings rose to face any challenge with courage, honor, pride and, when needed, brute force.
At Viking Exploration and Special Operations Group (VESOG), we carry on the ancient traditions of our namesake. In the spirit of adventure, we make our way on the boundless sea of stars. Whether discovering and charting new systems, wreaking havoc on those who prey upon the weak, or running a blockade to deliver sensitive cargo on target and on time – VESOG gets the job done.
VESOG began as frontier resource exploration, recovery and haulage partnership. We quickly realized it was impossible to shape the frontier if you couldn’t guarantee at least a small measure of security. Committed to independence, we saw a need to develop in-house capabilities to meet our security and logistics requirements. We have kept expanding ever since so we can carry more tools wherever we chose to strike out. As the scope of our business expanded, so has our vision.
With a firm belief in honor, integrity and excellence, VESOG prides itself on keeping its promises and fulfilling every contract. It is the industry leader in delivering executive outcomes.
With an untarnished reputation VESOG is well place to expand. We are currently open to applications for leaders and crew for our new exploration, security and salvage divisions, including science, flight engineering, gunnery positions aboard our newly christened Anvil Carrack-class vessels VALHALLA and EARDSTAPA. We also have opportunities for Warfare Officers and Marines in our security and assault units aboard our new Redeemer Gunship (THOR) and Reclaimer-class vessel NAGLAFARI. Other key openings include Electronic Warfare Officers, Data Operators, Intelligence Agents, Pilots, Field Engineers and Search and Rescue Technicians for our growing general purpose, logistics and combat service-support fleet, and Special Operators for or light and armored ground assault teams.

VESOG Ltd. — The Vikings
Like our namesake, we are explorers first. And much more.
Vikings all, we believe in honor, dedication, and leaving everything we have on the field in the pursuit of the causes we deem worthy. What binds us together, at our core, is a shared need to strike out, to venture beyond the familiar, to make a lasting mark on the stars, and to be the first to verge into the unknown. We want to live with meaning and leave something behind us on the star-road for others to follow.
What sets VESOG apart is that we are not driven by an indiscriminate thirst for profit. Like any organization, we have to keep our engines burning, or flanks secured and promote the welfare and betterment of members. So, like any organization, we need business. We engage in a range of venture enterprises like resource exploration and mining; expeditionary research, deep-space salvage as well as data and cargo running. We also offer a range of freelance services from high-risk charter haulage; frontier security; search and rescue; and opposed recovery operations; to more traditional armed reconnaissance, crisis management and special operations effects delivery. However, while you can hire us, you cannot buy us. We are fiercely independent and highly selective in choosing our clients and partners and will only take on work consistent our ethos and mission: to expand the human endeavor into the unknown, carrying with us the principles of dignity and excellence.
We support pioneers, adventures and explores. If you share our desire to find and buld better worlds and better opportunities for the growth of the human spirit, we will share your labors and your enemies, carry your burdens and fight your battles as longs we travel the same path and share common interests. Within our ranks, we expect bravery to be second nature and cowardice is not tolerated. You will find no more loyal dedicated allies.
