History

Feb. 24 the idea to award machinima producers was conceived. A formal appreciation to the vid industry content creators who spend countless hours to provide the UEE with a few minutes of entertainment.

Feb. 25 2953: It was on this day that we formally hooked up with ZarkMedia and Hubnet to work towards our goal. The end result of this discussion became a much larger scope than intended, but the idea of an actual awards ceremony was too enticing to let die.

Milhouse Videer-Dennis formally establishes the Knack4 Vids corp. in Area 18. Ownership of a Mako is planned, but further funding is needed.

To raise capital and gain space-faring experience, Dennis works as a freelance, physical security operative during resourcing and convoy operations.

After a year of being beckoned to give up ground pounding and head into the heavens to find fortune, Milhouse finally followed Mr. Destiny into the Stanton Sys. Here, in no time at all, a vid journalism corp. was established.

The rest of the plan was to raise capital for the purchase of a Reliant Mako. The method? Iindependent cargo hauling and pro UEE mission running in the Stanton, Pyro and Nyx systems.

The expectation that Milhouse take over Smuttopia — the family’s seedy, 3rd generation porn production business couldn’t suppress the desire to make docu-vids. He wanted to hone his vid making talent w/ experience from operating a Major, Milhouse set out to secure a Mako.

M. Dennis took his vid production experience and a hefty loan from his father — the ill reputed “Prince of Porn” — to purchase a hangar in New York to eventually house a Reliant Mako.

With the desire for a career in mainstream vid production over seedy porn, M.S.Dennis chose a career as a journalist because it seemed like a logical step towards towards the goal of docu-vid production. Until then, space expose journalism is Vid’s contribution to society.

2950, July 24: Knack4 Vids is founded.

This was step one: starting a vid production company and work as a private contractor — a freelancer.

With little ground work set, Knack4 Vids moves on to step two: find other vid makers.

Manifesto

We plan to put on a ceremony in Area18 and need all creative types to help get this done. I’m not looking for subordinates. I’m looking for partners or even someone to lead this organization, if you can do it better. I’m here as a creative just wanting to move forward. If you are willing to provide anything you feel would help remove the dullness of the typical awards show, here is the place to show it off. Dirty jokes are accepted. We want to make this fun for you, the provider and also make it entertaining for our viewers. All while showing appreciation to the people in the vid industry. Presenters are needed and a staged bitch slap would go over well on our platform.

We’re just getting started over at the Hubnet Discord. You’ll get a lot of freedom to do your craft, but there are a few mandates that we need to stay within. Please contact me for more info.

K4 a.k.a. Vids is a media company based out of New Corvo, Aremis in Vega Sys. We mainly capture footage of bloodshed and conduct pro UEE missions in our Mako while we investigate rumors of corruption and treason. We are patriots, but not brown nosers so we don’t spin the UEE’s reality into a utopia. We have skepticism in regards to all of our neighboring xenospecies. With that, we felt the need to join H.A.W.K.Ey.E. and investigate the tevarin under the guise of a docu-vid producers.

Let it be known to everyone but the xeno that K4 VIDS is an infiltration organization as much as it is a freelance news organization.

We’re primarily vid makers, but report news to finance our productions.

The goal is to eventually purchase a Reliant Mako press ship and run missions for the UEE, but currently all we have is a Mustang Alpha. Our mission running supports the UEE as a whole. We even do this for Tevarin specific interests so that we can infiltrate deeper into their culture with each mission. As we become more ingrained we become more powerful.

We participate in relief efforts and promote charity work.

As a proud financial supporter to H.A.W.K.Ey.E, — the alien watchdog organization — Dennis, using his press credentials hopes to infiltrate tevarin society and gain accsss to the their inner sanctum under the guise of docu-vid production. The end result is an education tool for humanity to aid in it’s survival.

Charter

We value time therefore, preparedness is an ideal we hold in high regard.

As infiltrating journalists we are unbiased, but like all good news organizations we to provide our own rhetorically charged political cynicism, and ours is directed at the Transistionalist party. We find this perfectly acceptable.

We sound out against piracy and toe the line for the UEE as patriots, but we do however point out the absurdity of the Transitionalist party

We view the Transitionalist as “terra-rists” and oppose their desire to move the UEE captial to Terra.
