Viper Industries was proudly founded by two veterans of the Battle of Vega, Captain Winters and Sargent Chu. The founders met when the Hammerhead, the UEES Octavian, Commanded by Captain Winters, was overwhelmed by Vanduul subcap fire, disabled, and then boarded by Vanduul warriors. As fate would have it a small detachment of marines in the Vega system on a routine training mission that were swept up into the battle, spotted the Hammerhead in distress. Sargent Chu of the UEEMR heroically led a boarding party to save the crew of the Octavian. In his Titan exosuit Sargent Chu and his marines despite being outnumbered were able to slay the enemy combatants and save the remaining UEE Starmen from certain death. Many years after their service to the empire they were reunited in their home system of Stanton. A friendship was born, and from that a business partnership. Viper Industries™ was formed as a response to the growing threat and instability caused by outlaw gangs spilling over form the Pyro system wreaking havoc on interstellar industry. The founders saw this as an opportunity to create a veteran led company to provide support, assistance, and protect all freelance industrialists that wish to join their federation.
