It all started with the dream of not being pulled out of quantum and losing it all. The pirates were too thick, and traveling alone was too common. Those of us who made it back with those last few SCU of cargo, or were rescued by the kindness of others who picked up the signals from our escape pods, decided to organize, share our experience and knowledge. We started to communicate our plans to more than just our crew and our clients so our absence would be noticed. We traveled together, pooled our resources, and increased the odds of all of us returning home.

Virgil is an org aimed towards players interested in cargo ship gameplay, who seek a safer way to trade in the ‘verse, in the company of like minded pilots. Virgil provides a place for pilots to meet, organize convoys, hire crew, and to collectively bargain for escort services. Virgil keeps a list of trustworthy and dependable escort providers. Traders can use a dedicated job board to communicate with these providers, fill crew positions, and negotiate pay rates for all hired positions. At the end of the day Virgil provides the best opportunity for trade profit, while minimizing risk in a dangerous ‘verse.

We travel together so none of us are alone. We communicate so if we are lost, we shall be brought back. We hire protection so that we do not fail our customers, our crew, or our ship. We convoy so that all can benefit.

Virgil intends to test and arrange the best trade routes for those who desire them, or support those who create routes for themselves. Provide the best access to escort pilots possible. Maintain the organization financially with a low tax percentage, low overhead, optimizing profits for all, and supporting the vision of the founders.
