Vector Strategic Operations Group is an independent Star Citizen PMC for pilots, crews and specialists. Tactical aviation. Multi-crew operations. Training and contracts. Real life comes first. Capability earns trust. We choose the work. We answer for it.
Vector Strategic Operations Group began with a convoy that could not afford another loss.
The contract brought together independent pilots, ship crews, engineers and specialists along a troubled route between Hurston and Crusader. They arrived with different backgrounds and equipment, expecting little beyond the job.
The convoy reached its destination. Afterward, the escort crews stayed to help repair the ships that had made the journey possible. When the next request arrived, the client asked for the same team.
A working relationship became a company. Its name expressed a practical belief: force needs direction, and direction requires the means to act.
Escort work expanded into recovery, reconnaissance, interdiction and training. VSOG accepted difficult assignments without pretending that a contract removed the need for judgment.
That principle was tested during the Nacre industrial recovery. An equipment retrieval became a prolonged personnel extraction from a failing installation, demanding close coordination between escort pilots, boarding personnel, engineers and supporting crews.
The recovery incurred losses and a lengthy commercial dispute. It also established an enduring lesson: protecting an approach and bringing people through it are different tasks, and neither succeeds without the other.
The Tactical Aviation Group developed around fighter operations, reconnaissance, escort, aerospace combat and pilot training.
The Tactical Logistics Group developed around multi-crew vessels, gunships, capital operations, transport and the systems that sustain a working force.
Training became a standing commitment. Experience was recorded, challenged and passed on. Qualifications recognized demonstrated capability; command responsibilities were assigned deliberately.
The ongoing Aster Project supports this work through planning, communications, training support and organizational records, keeping the knowledge earned by one crew useful to the next.
VSOG’s clients have included independent operators, commercial interests and organizations beyond respectable trade. Some contracts protect assets. Others recover them, seize them or deny them to someone else.
The test is whether VSOG understands the objective, accepts the method and is prepared to answer for the result.
Independent, selective and built around the people doing the work, VSOG does not promise a clean universe. It considers where it is going before applying force to get there.
Vector Strategic Operations Group exists to turn individual skill into coordinated capability.
We train pilots who can support a flight, crews who can operate a ship together, and leaders who understand that authority carries responsibility.
A useful plan, a clear transmission and a crew that understands its task matter more than an impressive title. Tactical aviation and fleet operations depend on one another: fighters need the force behind them, and larger ships need the people who make them effective.
We are an independent private military company. Escort, recovery, interdiction, combat and support are tools. Their value depends on the purpose they serve and the consequences they create.
We do not define ourselves solely as lawful or criminal, protector or aggressor. We judge the work before we accept it.
A client may purchase our services. They do not purchase our judgment. We retain the right to refuse work, question its assumptions and stop when conditions no longer match the agreement we accepted.
We preserve lessons, including uncomfortable ones, and pass them on through training. Our systems should support judgment and make responsibility clear.
We intend VSOG to remain worth belonging to: capable without arrogance, organized without needless ceremony, and serious about its work without forgetting the people doing it.
VSOG is a gaming organization, not a second job. General participation does not require rigid attendance quotas. When you accept an operation slot, crew position or leadership responsibility, communicate if circumstances change.
Extended absence may require reassignment of an active billet or a qualification refresh. These measures keep operations workable; they are not punishment.
We take a semi-milsim approach: clear communications, training and operational command should improve play. Rank does not prove skill, qualification does not automatically grant command, and owning a ship does not confer authority over its crew.
During an operation, follow its assigned command structure. Questions, mistakes and concerns should be raised respectfully, with an honest debrief afterward.
Multi-organization membership is permitted. Full Members make the commitment required for trusted organizational leadership. Reservists can train, operate and contribute while maintaining other commitments. Everyone is expected to meet the standards of the role they accept.
Callsigns and in-universe personas are valid ways to participate. Members are not required to disclose real names, locations, employers, beliefs or personal histories.
Doxing, threats of exposure and misuse of information shared in confidence are prohibited. Roleplay is welcome, not compulsory.
VSOG supports purposeful PvP and may undertake piracy, interdiction or other adversarial gameplay consistent with its contract standards and the game’s rules.
Personal harassment, threats and targeting people solely to ruin their experience are incompatible with membership.
Ask questions, report mistakes and challenge unsafe assumptions respectfully. Critique should improve capability, not establish social superiority.
Friendship, humor and shared stories belong here. So do new players willing to learn and experienced players willing to teach.
