WHO WE ARE

We are Nova Company, a division of the =VX9= Online Gaming Community. =VX9= has been an active gaming community for 14+ years and has a large, dedicated membership base limited to people 18 years and up. While the majority of our members reside in North America, we have a strong representation from Europe as well as a few other distant areas of the globe.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

The =VX9= motto is: ONE TEAM! We pride ourselves on supporting each other in games and in real life; Nova Company is an extension of that mindset. The most important thing to us is having fun! We also believe in fair play (no cheating) and treating fellow members with respect.

WHAT WE WILL DO IN THE ‘VERSE

Simply put, anything that doesn’t violate our charter and we have the available assets to take on the endeavor. There will be many ways to enjoy the Star Citizen Universe and we expect our members will want to fully enjoy that freedom of choice. Uncertain if your preferred role will be represented? COMMITMENT LEVEL

Real life always comes first. We will have members that can play every day on a regular basis as well as those that can only run the occasional operation. Organization leadership via our forums will coordinate operations of varying complexity and length. For members with varying availability, impromptu ops can be assembled via the forums and TeamSpeak for those who happen to be online at the same time. Want to take off on your own? Please do, you never know what valuable and important discoveries you will uncover during your journey!

We expect all of our members will be exclusive to Nova Company. Our goal is for Nova Company to provide everything a member would need thus making an affiliation with another Org unnecessary. If you feel there is a reason why you need affiliation with another Org, please contact Fireseal or Dunkelschatten.

OUR STRUCTURE

Our current structure has a notable military focus. This is representative of what is currently available for us to play. We will expand our Organizational structure as the additional modules release, there is need for expansion and we have the proper membership to take on these new positions and roles.

General Rules

- All members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is professional and friendly. They will represent themselves as a member of =VX9= in all aspects including in game, on forums (both RSI and =VX9=), teamspeak, and any other public portal.

- Members have the right to defend themselves, their friends, fellow organization mates, and our allies from hostile acts. Furthermore all hostile action will be reported to leadership for tracking purposes.

- Members are expected to honor all agreements, treaties, and alliances formed by leadership, in these cases, you will not fire unless fired upon. Any violation of this rule will be immediately reported to leadership.

- Members will not take matters into their own hands. Any issues that arise in game will be sent up the leadership chain and dealt with appropriately.

- Members will not discuss information contained in private forums with anyone who does not have access to said forum.

- Members will treat fellow members with respect at all times. This also applies to members of organizations that we are allied with.

- Members will not respond to negative posts made about =VX9=. If they come across a negative post they should inform leadership so it can be handled correctly and professionally. This is a zero tolerance rule, anyone found replying to these posts whether positive or negative without approval from leadership will face disciplinary action.

- Members will avoid public confrontations at all costs, if something needs to be said, either do it behind closed doors or do not do it. It reflects badly on yourself and =VX9=.

Fleet Rules

- All members will at all times identify that they are with the =VX9= fleet.

- Members will not be allowed to be in another fleet without permission from =VX9= Nova Company CO, XO, or fleet commander.

- Members will follow all applicable rules while in space and respond to orders issued by =VX9= leadership. When in allied space members will observe local allied fleet rules, if you do not agree with one of their rules, you will leave their space and bring it up with leadership so we may come to a diplomatic solution.

- Members will never engage allies, if engaged, you will do your best to let them know you are allies, if that does not work, you will attempt to run, if that does not work, you may as a last resort return fire. Remember though that you will need to explain your actions and it will be a he said she said problem so be mindful and report any issues right away.

- Piracy is not tolerated. If you see piracy, it is your duty to report it, if you can stop it, you are free to do so with extreme prejudice. You will not demand a reward, tips are allowed to be accepted though. The best defense to piracy is to make them understand that they will not get away with it in our or our allies space and as such they will look elsewhere.

- Cheating or exploiting of any kind is not tolerated. This is a zero tolerance policy, if caught you will be removed.

- Members are encouraged to participate as much as they can in fleet activities and especially in alliance activities.
