WARRAVEN – When you want things done well and on time you contract WARRAVEN
War Raven Corporation (WRC)
“In the void, only purpose gives flight.”
Founded: 2953 (UEE Standard Year)
Headquarters: Classified (operational presence in Stanton, Pyro fringe)
Classification: Independent Civilian / Multi-Role Operations Group
Alignment: Neutral (UEE-licensed, non-aligned politically)
Founding & Early Vision
War Raven Corporation was born from the chaos of shifting trade lanes and fractured economies that followed the ongoing Pyro-Stanton instability. As security collapsed in the fringe systems and piracy surged along unguarded routes, three veterans from different walks of life found themselves sharing a single conclusion: the Empire had grown too slow to adapt, and survival now depended on those willing to act without orders.
In 2953, Admiral Scorpion, a decorated former fleet officer turned independent contractor, established the corporation’s charter aboard a converted Carrack-class vessel later known as the WRC Raven’s Nest.
He was joined by:
Gabriel Algren, a former UEE Naval Intelligence operative specializing in deep-space reconnaissance and data interdiction.
RWarrior, an elite pilot and tactician from the civilian racing and escorting circuits, who took the role of Command Master Pilot, overseeing all flight operations and combat readiness.
Their philosophy was simple but pragmatic:
“We don’t chase glory. We haul, we fight, we adapt — and we get our people home.”
Corporate Structure (2955)
Division Function Key Personnel
Command Division Strategic oversight, contract negotiation, fleet readiness Admiral Scorpion
Intelligence & Recon Division (IRD) Threat analysis, signal interception, cargo route assessment Gabriel Algren
Flight Operations Division (FOD) Cargo hauling, escort duty, recovery and salvage ops RWarrior
Auxiliary & Logistics Support Ship maintenance, ground support, and refueling Various crew detachments
Administrative Core Contract management, civilian liaisons, recruitment Open positions
Each division functions semi-independently, connected through the Raven’s Nest Relay Network — an encrypted quantum-relay system that maintains communications across active systems.
Operational Mandate
War Raven Corporation operates as a licensed freelance entity under UEE commercial law, specializing in:
Cargo & Freight Operations – hauling legal goods between corporate and frontier worlds.
Freelance Contracting – ranging from planetary relief logistics to secure personnel transport.
Salvage & Recovery – assisting stranded vessels or recovering wrecks for lawful claim.
Exploration & Jump Survey – limited reconnaissance on uncharted or volatile jump points.
Security Escorts – defensive operations for convoys and high-value cargo.
Although registered as a civilian logistics group, WRC’s cross-trained crews give it the flexibility of a paramilitary expeditionary team — capable of adapting from trade route to combat zone within a single flight rotation.
Cultural Identity & Ethos
War Raven’s founders instilled a culture of independence, loyalty, and adaptation.
Crews often quote the unofficial motto:
“Out there, you’re either prey or predator — we choose the sky.”
The corporation fosters a meritocratic command structure — skill and initiative outweighing seniority. Recruits are expected to demonstrate reliability in both flight and field conditions.
Members often wear the “Raven’s Crest”, a sigil depicting a stylized black raven with a fractured star in its talons — symbolizing vigilance in chaos.
Political & Economic Position
War Raven operates on the edge of legality in some systems. Officially, the corporation maintains UEE charter compliance, but its “no-questions-asked” contracts occasionally skirt gray zones in Pyro, Nyx, or Tiber.
Relations:
UEE Navy – Neutral / Wary (viewed as ex-military freelancers; tolerable but watched).
Civilian Corporations – Mixed (competition with MISC and Crusader cargo operations).
Banu Guilds – Cautiously Friendly (occasional trade route collaboration).
Outlaw Gangs (Pyro Syndicates) – Adversarial, though rumored black-market ties exist through intermediaries.
Recent Operations
Operation Blackwing (2954) – Recovery of an abandoned MISC Freelancer near the Pyro II debris field; yielded a trove of encrypted UEE survey data.
Convoy Delta-Nine (2955) – Successful escort of a ten-ship cargo line through the Nul system after pirate incursions; established WRC reputation as reliable under fire.
Raven’s Nest Expansion (Ongoing) – Development of modular hangar hubs and auxiliary relays to extend WRC presence into fringe sectors.
Future Objectives
Expand civilian contract network to include Crusader Industries and Drake Interplanetary logistics subsidiaries.
Establish a dedicated security wing (“Talons”) for long-range escort and interdiction response.
Secure funding for an additional capital-class flagship (projected Aegis Idris-M acquisition).
Recruit independent pilots, engineers, and tacticians aligned with the War Raven ethos.
WAR RAVEN CORPORATION MANIFESTO
“In the void, only purpose gives flight.”
I. The Call of the Void
We were not born into the safety of empire walls.
We came from the edges — from hangars that rattled when the wind blew through broken bulkheads, from cargo bays that smelled of fuel and dust.
The UEE calls it “the frontier.” We call it home.
When the trade lanes burned and convoys vanished, when corporations withdrew behind their fortresses and senators turned their eyes away, we chose a different path. We took flight — not for glory, not for wealth, but to carve our own order out of the chaos.
II. Our Creed
“Adapt. Endure. Deliver.”
This is the creed of the War Raven.
We are haulers, fighters, explorers, engineers — the ones who keep the flow of civilization alive while others hide behind policy.
We move cargo through storm and warzone alike. We fly where nav charts end.
We do the jobs others won’t, because someone must.
We believe the sky belongs to those willing to earn it — not to those who inherited it.
III. The Triarch Command
Admiral Scorpion – The Spearhead: vision and command.
Gabriel Algren – The Eye: intelligence, foresight, and the shadowed hand.
RWarrior – The Forge: mastery of salvage, industry, and the transformation of wreckage and raw material into strength.
Together they form the Triarch, founders of War Raven, bound by a single oath: Never again will good pilots die for bureaucrats who never leave orbit.
IV. Our Law
We honor no politics, only purpose.
The void is our jurisdiction; survival our charter.
We hold to these laws:
Loyalty to the Flight. Every crew member is family — no one left adrift.
Honor in Contract. When we take a job, we see it through.
Silence in Shadow. Intelligence kept is strength preserved.
Courage in the Black. Fear is natural; surrender is not.
Freedom Above All. We serve the contract, not the crown.
V. The Raven’s Purpose
War Raven exists to bridge the gap between chaos and commerce.
We are the haulers that feed colonies, the escorts that keep trade alive, the explorers that chart the unknown.
We bring stability where law has failed — not through speeches, but through reliability, precision, and flight discipline.
To those who prey upon the weak: we are the shadow that hunts back.
To those who wander the void alone: we are the signal that answers your call.
VI. The Oath of Flight
“I will rise when others fall.
I will carry what must be carried.
I will stand watch in the silence between stars.
I will bring my brothers and sisters home.
I am a Raven — and I will not fall from the sky.”
Every recruit recites this before taking their first contract. It binds them not by paper, but by purpose.
VII. The Future We Fly Toward
The Verse is changing. Empires crumble, jump points collapse, and the unknown presses closer every cycle.
War Raven will not wait for orders. We chart our own flight path — through the black, toward the light of what humanity can still be.
Every cargo we haul, every convoy we guard, every signal we answer — these are the feathers of our wings.
We fly together.
We fly free.
We are War Raven.
