2600.11.21 — Blooded

Dawn of a new breed of warrior, alongside the development of Paul Steed and his squadron. A secretive DEVGRU was being trained and experimented. Whiskey squadron was the result of the need for critical skills operators that could fight both as pilots and as ground units cohesively. After the first Tevarin War, Whiskey Squadron was made operational and saw combat in the second coming Tevarin War.

2610.06.24 — Behind the Scenes

Whiskey Squadron was executing ‘Operation Black Wave’ due to it’s clandestine nature, squadron 42 was made unaware of the operation happening in there AO. Squadron 42 dealt the finishing blow on the Tevarin, however Whiskey squadron conducted several small quick raids making the Tevarin wither over time from exhaustion and hypertension. This led to the Tevarin losing combat effectiveness and aiding squadron 42 in there mission. Whiskey squadron received no accommodations or awards so the Whiskey squadron held there own celebratory event awarding there own members medals.

2616.09.16 — Ultimatum

Whiskey Squadron on a FTX (Field Training Excercise) on Elysium IV stumbled across a small refuge camp of Tevarin. Because they were located on UEE Military territory they were marked as trespassers. Whiskey squadron was ordered to ‘neutralize the threats’, after refusing to follow orders the Imperator was informed and gave the squad an ultimatum neutralize the threats or be charged with treason followed by the punishment of death. The squadron reluctantly open fire on the settlement and after sending the video evidence to the UEE, they were told to continue with the excercise.

2633.03.17 — Internal Affairs

A few Whiskey squad members were injured in a blue on blue incident, UEE pilots operating near by saw the Whiskey squad and bearing no UEE insignia nor registering any friendly signatures, attempts were made for the squad to be hailed. All attempts of being contacted failed, it is common practice for whiskey to turn off signature readings and switching to legacy comms to avoid detection. Back on the ground Whiskey member Zodiac-Actual saw one of the pilots charging there m7a cannon. Whiskey fired anti-air while their marksman was able to fire a round into one pilot. One of the pilots was able to fire off a missile nearly killing 3 members, due to the squads record of insubordination and defiance the Imperator had a strong distaste for the squad. After this incident the squad was under investigation and was under heavy restriction.

2642.03.12 — Blacklisted

The Investigation, although held no concrete evidence, led to the squad being disavowed and the members being found unfit for combat duties. The squad fully aware of the injustice that had occurred, left the UEE in hopes of discovering a new profession where their experience could net them a high fortune. Unfortunately the Imperator at the time didn’t feel comfortable allowing a highly trained squadron possibly helping the growing resistance. Doctored footage of the squadron during the FTX in 2616.09.16 was ‘leaked’ and led to the unit being labeled terrorist and traitors allowing the UEE to use its resources to launch a black operation to eliminate the former whiskey squadron. The squadron was hunted by the full force of the UEE and a few members were apprehended and executed. The remaining members left bloody and mamed sought refuge in Tevarin slums.

2700.08.29 — Patricide

The UEE had snuffed out most of the members and grew complacent, due to the rising insurrection there attention shifted away from Whiskey squad. The remaining members were taken in by the Teravin, during the massacre of the Teravin refuge camp during the FTX in the doctored footage. The members had secretly helped the children escape, although most of the children resented the squad they agreed to help them in return for sparing their lives. Over the years the squad healed and connected with the Teravin, they trained in hand to hand combat which the Teravin were renown for. In return the group trained the Teravin in the art of gunfighting and UEE piloting tactics. The group later found themselves in the middle of the insurrection with the Teravin against the UEE.

2726.11.16 — Reborn

The Squad over time had sustained multiple injuries and followed by age, they began losing combat effectivness. The insurrection was just beginning and the fighting had begun. In search for more time to fight and enact revenge on the UEE the group turned to the black market for stolen experimental cybernetics. A Banu fugitive was eager to provide the lucrative order, the cybernetics were modular allowing for the user to easily replace limbs and even organs. This was a pivoting moment for the remaining Whiskey squad, there combat effectiveness had surpassed their prime by tenfold. This led to overwhelming combat superiority against the UEE, after catching the attention of local media outlets within spectrum. The group had adopted the misnomer Wendigo when a journalist described there actions as cannibalistic and savage when referring to the massacre of a UEE capital vessel. The Wendigo had openly confirmed the allegations, claiming responsibility.

Present Time

The Wendigos have claimed the lives of many UEE and in time led to a stand still within the community of UEE security and military. None favored the group, but rarely did they ever pro-actively seek the group. Within time the Imperator reign came to an end and the need for insurrection faded, the group saw many friends pass with time due to the cybernetic assistance. With this the group left local UEE space and began freelancing as an Underground Concierge of sorts for lucrative entities. Providing support, security, intelligence, sparking corporate coups and espionage, making profits to fund there ever expanding organization. Although operating near the edge of the law, the group shows no intent to do evil onto others unless provoked, or deserving.
