History

The WEYLAND-YUTANI CORPORATION, often shortened to WEYLAND-YUTANI and commonly referred to as Wey-Yu or simply “The Company”, is a large British/Japanese multinational conglomerate. It is primarily a technology supplier, manufacturer of Synthetics, spaceships and computers for a wide range of industrial and commercial clients, making them a household name. Weyland-Yutani also has numerous non-manufacturing interests; the company has extensive assets in interplanetary shipping and transport, and is one of the corporations that operates human colonies outside the solar system through the EXTRASOLAR COLONIZATION ADMINISTRATION, which it owns and controls. The company also has a seat in the INTERSTELLAR COMMERCE COMMISSION’S COMPANY REVIEW BOARD, and has made substantial investments towards the UNITED STATES COLONIAL MARINE CORPS, and thus has a large presence on EARTH. They hold their main offices in Tokyo, London, San Francisco, The Sea of Tranquility on LUNA, and on Thedus.

Manifesto

Wey-Yu strives to improve the galaxy through various engineering projects- social, and civil.

Through rapid growth and expansion, Wey-Yu seeks to provide a safe, healthy, and prosperous environment for all within its corporate boundaries.

Employees of Wey-Yu come from all walks of life and serve a vast range of roles within The Company providing trade, expansion, exploration, transport, and private security.

Charter

WEYLAND-YUTANI and all its subsidiaries, franchises, employees, and contractors are reminded that in addition to company by-laws all are to adhere to the Code of Conduct as found in Intergalactic Trading Standard 4265 article 1274 when representing the company in a public setting. All employees are bound by strict laws of corporate conduct. Inability to adhere to said code will result in termination of company contract, and may incur additional penalties including, but not limited to;
  • Prosecution
  • Fines appropriate to misconduct
  • Suspension of company contract
  • Trade penalties
  • Loss of wages
  • Termination

Said laws include;

  • Non-aggression towards company employees*
  • Adherence to all trading laws, local and intergalactic
    *Obedience and loyalty to all Board Members and Company Directors.
