When man first colonized Mars the founders of Westwood Arms were there. Tradesman in the field of Power Generation and Mining our founders were put on the short list by Earth’s Government to be included in the third wave of Colonization of the asteroid belt and the moons of Mars. The third wave was civilians, mostly tradespeople and their families, thousands answered the call and mustered out into the depths of our solar System and beyond. Each Colonist group of the third wave staked out their Asteroid claim and set up private operations to help fuel the ship and facility building boom that resulted from the ‘race to space’. Soon after our Solar System’s asteroid belt became the new ‘Wild West’ and the mining colonies came under fire from pirates and bandit groups more interested in profit than the furthering of Space Exploration. To our founders this was unacceptable. Two families the Wests and the Woods got together under an agreement of mutual protection, they have been working together to protect each other and their interests ever since. Westwood Arms was born. Through the generations both family trees have a rich history of military service and experience in Exploration, Industrial Facilities, Mining and Minerals, Transportation and Protection, as well as Bounty Hunting and Investigations. Wherever there are Pirates and those bottoms dwellers who deprive honest folks of money, goods or even their lives; Westwood Arms will be there to stand against them!
