Weyland Yutani will focus on exploration into the unknown reaches of space, to exploit what we find for profit.

Our members are free to pursue their own activities as long as they are in accordance with the Charter and are profitable for the corporation as a whole.

A key to success will be moving restricted good around the verse, we will specialize in the movement of organic lifeforms – Human and non human alike. If the specimens are not used up be our research division then they will be sold to the highest bidder.

Constitution of ReddFaction

Preamble to the Constitution of ReddFaction.

We, the citizens, in order to form a lasting Alliance, Establish Power, ensure Galactic Civility, provide for the Comprehensive Safety, Promote Member Interests, and ensure the Benefits of Autonomy for ourselves and our progeny do ordain and establish this Constitution for ReddFaction.

Article I Rights and Responsibilities of a Citizen

i. Rights Citizens of ReddFaction have the right to: 1. Play the game free from harassment or discrimination. 2. Be treated with respect by fellow faction members.
3. The safety of their person and property within and from the faction.

ii. Responsibilities Citizens of ReddFaction have the responsibility to: 1. Not harass members of the faction. 2. Treat members of the Faction with respect.
3. Do no harm to Faction members, to their physical goods, investments or reputation. 4. Maintain, within the Faction, an attitude of cooperation, not competition.
5. Come to the aide of any ReddFaction member if within their means, without undue risk to their person, or property or real life commitments.
6. Obey all official commands of ReddFaction if within their means, without undue risk to their person, or property or real life commitments.
7. To uphold all operational security measures of the faction.

Article II Establishment of Government

i. Member Organizations
1. Member Organizations are groups within ReddFaction that are made of like-minded individuals with common goals.
2. Member Organizations have a large degree of autonomy, including the right to self-govern within the rules of the faction.
3. Member Organizations must choose a representative for their organization to the government of ReddFaction.
4. Member Organizations as a whole have and must obey the same rights and responsibilities as a citizen of ReddFaction.
5. Member Organizations will be divided by ideology into one of three branches of ReddFaction. ii. Branches
1. There are to be established 3 branches, based around ideologies: OrangeRed, Periwinkle and Gold. These shall consist of both Member Organizations and a general population of citizens.

2. OrangeRed shall be based upon principles of honor and service. Members of OrangeRed will strive to respect the law of the UEE, and the rights of all Citizens in the universe.

3. Periwinkle shall be based upon the principles of liberty and ingenuity. Members of Periwinkle may find their paths taking them outside of UEE control and thrive in the abundance of personal freedom.

4. Gold shall be based upon the principles of capitalism and industriousness. Members of Gold will strive to find the best profits and markets wherever they may be.

iii. Committees

1. Each branch shall have a governing executive committee.

2. Each Committee shall be made up of representatives, one each from every Member Organization belonging to that council and one to represent the populace not committed to a Member Organization.

3. Committees shall choose a military advisor to oversee the military capabilities of their respective branch.

4. Committees will have broad powers, and a large governing role, their duties include, but are not limited to:
Accept petitions for branch actions
Dispute resolution
Punish members for violating the constitution
Specific roles related to their branch
Deciding how they rule over their elected base.
Taking full military actions against enemies, and paramilitary action against non-whitelisted.
Open diplomatic channels.
Set taxes
Propose Amendments to the constitution, which can be passed by a three fifths supermajority of the entire population of the Faction.
5. Advocates are members of the committees chosen by the Supreme Council tasked with representing the general populace of each branch, they must hold public meetings to hear grievances.
6. Each Committee must choose one Committee member to represent their interests on the Supreme Council.

iv. Department of the Interior

1. There shall be established a Department of the Interior (abbreviated as DI).
2. The DI shall report directly to and take orders from the highest ruling body of ReddFaction.
3. The DI will monitor the universal presence of ReddFaction.
4. The DI will take on the roles of Dept of Education, Transportation, Counterintelligence, and any other as seen fit by the highest level of government.
5. It is the mandate of the DI to keep ReddFaction running smoothly, advancing steadily, and safe from all threats known and unknown.
6. Employees of the DI must act impartially with respect to MOs.
7. The DI is tasked with structuring itself in a top down manner.
8. The DI will be responsible for ensuring that all members of Committees are tested and proven not to be infiltrators from other organizations.
9. Members of the DI cannot be members of committees.

v. Supreme Council

1. The Supreme Council is the highest governing body of ReddFaction.

2. The Supreme Council of ReddFaction shall always consist of five members, no more, no less; each having equal voice and vote in Council decisions.

3. Three members shall be from the Committees.

4. One member shall be chosen from ReddFaction by the combined military advisors of the committees.

5. The fifth member is the highest ranking public official from the Dept. of the Interior. This member will act in a primarily advisory role, chair meetings, and only vote in the event of a deadlock.

6. Each Council Member may serve a 3 month term, violation of the constitution or dereliction of duty are grounds for immediate dismissal. Terms may be repeated. A committee may impeach its Supreme representative with a three fourths majority of all votes. The military advisors may impeach via unanimous decision. The Dept of Interior may impeach through three fourths majority vote of all three committees. It is vital that each Council Member properly document their time in office to pass down to their successors.

7. The Supreme Council will have broad discretionary powers over the direction of the Faction. It is the Council’s responsibility to direct the Dept. of Interior and ensure all activities Faction wide are in the best interest of the Faction.

8. Specific Powers and Responsibilities of the Supreme Council include but are not limited to:

Permaban hammer for repeat violators of the Rules or Constitution
Veto constitutional amendments, actions, and proposals of Committees.
Control and direction of Faction Resources, including finances.
Control of both a Black and White list of outside organizations.
Declare War
Make Peace
Arbitration of issues between branches.
Maintain a positive reputation out of game.
Interpret the constitution, and rule on decisions.
Manage ReddSquadron as an official defense force of the faction
Assign advocate members to the committees to represent the general population of the branches.
Set Metrics for existing and new MOs, to attain/retain voting privileges.
Break deadlocks in Committees.

9. Each Council Member will have a specific role in addition to their council duties.
The Council member from Orangered will be the public face of ReddFaction. They are a public figure and must act accordingly included creating/attending four public relation events per term, either in or outside of the game. Their title shall be President of ReddFaction
The Council member from Periwinkle will be the secret negotiator of ReddFaction. They will be tasked with completing any high level political discussions that need to be held with discretion. This means that they must keep a low profile or employ other methods so they may move in secret. Their title shall be Premier of ReddFaction
The Council Member from Gold shall be tasked with recording and f the budget of Reddfaction. This document must exist outside of game and include income, expenses, and plans for expenditures during their term. This document shall be maintained and passed down as new Council members are chosen. Their title shall be Comptroller of ReddFaction.
The Council Member from the Dept. of Interior shall ensure that there are educational resources about the game and the Faction available to all members. Their title shall be Executor of ReddFaction.
The Council Member chosen by the military advisors shall command ReddSquadron. It will be this council members responsibility to recruit talented citizens to make ReddSquadron an elite fighting force capable of rapid response and strong action. Their title shall be Strategos of ReddFaction.

Article III Existence in the Universe

i. The Goals of ReddFaction
1. To be a fun organization, respectful of our Reddit origins, with a large presence in Star Citizen.
2. To bring together all playstyles and use them to work together for the advancement of the Faction.
3. To carve a niche in the universe, both in and out of game.
4. To be a force either feared or respected by every citizen of the Star Citizen universe. ii. The Actions of ReddFaction
1. ReddFaction will hold its citizens rights in high regard and will look for similar mentalities in organizations it has positive relations with.
2. ReddFaction will not tolerate racism, sexism, or other such closed minded idealisms. Organizations that endorse such actions will be enemies of the Faction.
3. ReddFaction will not respect one religion over another, and members may freely practice as they wish, as long as they do not infringe on the rights of another.
4. ReddFaction will not respect one nationality over another, all members are equal within the faction.
